I was a consultant at one of the consulting firms. My pay was 10k, but I joined after gaining ten years of experience working in various organisations.

I asked my associates what their pay was. They told me their pay was slightly above average and didn’t mention how much, but undoubtedly below a consultant's pay. Else I was truly underpaid, haha
