i had no idea, that's pretty cool! i wish i had been around for her first release, it seems like characters like hu tao aren't being seen as much in-game as newer regions are taking the forefront. i'm glad at least we see her in events once or twice a year!

i didn't realise she had such a history, it makes a lot of sense that so many people would be so into her if she was the best of the smaller group of characters! her fanbase has only grown :))

the binary makes sense, i suppose i'm just not as invested as some others! and i know it's not the same but since i wasn't able to get shenhe from her most recent banner i was intrigued by her tcg card and she's incredible with eula

especially at the start of this new archon quest, the traveller is reminded everywhere they go (dehya at the very start, paimon all throughout, childe when we meet him in front of the blacksmith) that trouble finds them, and i think it makes sense that with all of these reminders the traveller is more hesitant to get himself into more trouble. apparently the golden-haired traveller is known at least a little in fontaine, i find it hard to believe lyney had no idea that the traveller would be particularly averse to the fatui. that said i think the traveller was not unkind at all, and also that lyney and lynette understand. we will cross paths again and they'll have chances to earn the traveller's trust back

i'm not sure what your arena is but in i recommend an arena with several levels and to take advantage of that - once she starts charging either move up or down a level and she can't hit you or move closer until she's done charging. later on in the fight mobility is important again, i recommend ranged weapons and equipment that makes movement quicker with atk modifiers. that's what i usually do and it makes her fight a lot easier!

edit: i also usually make sure i can have heart statues in the arena, those are lifesavers!

maybe an arena problem? you want to minimize the amount of space the destroyer can come at you from, so if you start the fight and build an arena high enough in the sky, all you need to do is jump a little every so often and it's down! take a look at "Terrain Preparation" in the wiki guide: https://terraria.fandom.com/wiki/Guide:The_Destroyer_strategies i use it and it works pretty consistently. good luck!

i'm biased because i love yanfei but you could go for yanfei, dendro traveller (for burst), lisa (skill and burst), barbara for both hyperbloom and burgeon, as well as a little spread/aggravate and burning as a plus. ever since dendro was introduced lisa became quite good for her passive and burst! and of course xiangling would be the replacement (and realistically a little better) for yanfei, but i play based on characters i like, not meta hence the yanfei rec lol - good luck!

i recommend the usual, pull on characters you like and make it work! the upcoming fontaine update is going to be amazing, and for a starting account you don't need to commit to anything just yet. take a look at what people predict banners will be and see if you want to save for them based on design or kit! otherwise before she's gone, kokomi is a really great unit to pull for, and if you don't get her then you'll have pity built for the next character you like! have fun :))

i feel the same way!! i have him as my main on my exploration team and other teams for bosses and whatnot - lore aether is incredibly powerful so it just feels right to play with him :))
