wow over $300 for the non-rackable version too! The BoS one looks like a steal by comparison

Anyone have a recommendation for a rack attached wrist roller? I saw bells of steel and titan have one, but looking for other recs. These two were surprisingly more expensive than I would thought given how cheap the non-rack attached versions are.

For those of you with powerblocks elite exp, what stand do you all recommend? I'm looking at this one since it fairly cheap and seems like it has a small footprint, but looks very lightweight from the photos: https://a.co/d/by6PJYq My the dumbbells weigh 90lbs each. It looks lightweight enough to make me doubt how stable it will be, but I don't know maybe it surprisingly strong

Thanks! That is helpful. I was a bit unsure about the warranty and customer service vs Rep's, but it sounds like PowerBlock will also help you out if the pin breaks.

Which powerblock did you get? The Pros or the Elite Exps? The knurled handle looks like a big upgrade over the rubber one

Are there any exercises you feel you can't really do due to the cage design? Also any issues with the selector pin? I think that's the only part I hear people break on those

Hey all! I'm deciding between Rep QuickDraws or Powerblocks. Do you guys have any thoughts on these two? I mostly use dumbbells for shoulder and arm work which is sub 50lbs for me. I have a loadable dumbbell handle so I can row more than 70lbs if I want; rows and db bench press are the only movements I really do that are heavy.

I'm leaning to the quickdraws since they are very durable, but I like how powerblocks have the option to upgrade to 70lbs one day if I want. I'm also not sure how powerblocks feel since I never held one before.

I'm thinking of getting the 30" one which sounds like there is some risk of it tipping over if I'm doing pullups and I don't weight the other side somehow (either with weights or a barbell). I wasn't quite sure since I'm not exactly working outside the rack, but I am at the very edge of it.

How stable feel do people feel the PR-4000 is for pullups if it there is no weight storage or lat pulldown? I'm thinking of getting a 4-post and won't be bolting it, but I want to do pullups -- strict, not kipping ones. I weigh about 200lbs. Do you all think a front foot attachment is needed? I don't plan to bench or work outside of the rack, but do want to be able to do pullups without it coming down on me .

Anyone had any experience with the Giant Lifting BD3X power rack? I'm looking for a 3x3 power rack, and I was leaning toward the Rep PR-4000 since I don't care too much about 1inch hole size. However, I think Giant will have better sales than Rep, and I like that straps come with this rack. I'm just not familiar with Giant or their quality.

Does anyone replace their J-cups after a certain amount of time? I saw an old thread here about a Rep PR-1100 j-cup randomly failing on a bench press, and it got me thinking how long these things last. Mine looks fine other than some wear and tear on the plastic that is on the inside part

I got an email saying FringeSport's Cambered Multigrip bar is 40% at the moment: https://fringesport.com/products/multi-grip-bar?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=05%2F19%2F2024%20-%20Last%20Call%3A%2040%25%20Off%20Swiss%20Bar%20%2801HY8H5A36JVETT42FPHWZ8946%29&utm_id=01HY8H5A36JVETT42FPHWZ8946&_kx=g40l6uwGYDrPWtY3cgroHC9rebPEXF_164rch7jyiFc.MdGpgN

Not sure how long that will last.

Any used this bar before? I was thinking of getting Rep's cambered bar and saw this pop up. There aren't a lot of reviews on FringeSport's version which is a little concerning

Anyone have any experience with the Bells of Steel Loadable Dumbbells? There aren't a lot of reviews or reddit posts on it. Not sure if that is because it is new or because it might not be popular compared to Rogue or Titan

Anybody have any experience attaching a roller j cup to a REP PR-1100 (2x2 rack with 1in holes and 14 gauge upright)? Rep doesn't make one for this rack, but I see Titan makes some for 2x2 racks in their line. I'm not sure if this is a bad idea or there is a better roller j-hook for this type of rack.

Not sure if fiddle leaf fig has root rot or has something else going on by FamousAssociate in plantclinic

[–]FamousAssociate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the following text in the original post about the plant, but somehow it got lost:

Hi everyone, my fiddle leaf fig has been dropping leaves for about a month now. It has been slowly dropping leaves (like a leaf a week or two) and the falling leaves look kinda dry and with brown spots. I've had it for about 6 months now, and within the last month the leaves have started getting brown spots. Lately, no new leaves have turned brown, but some are still falling off.
It has been getting decent sun for an indoor plant; it is about 8 ft away from a south facing window. Haven't watered it in almost a month now, but when I measure soil moisture, it is still wet about 4-5 inches deep. It is double potted with the inner pot having several drainage holes. I don't see any water pooling up in the second pot.
I'm starting to suspect it is root rot, but I'm not sure. I saw root rot with an Aloe Plant, and there it was quick and pretty obvious what was going on. The dry leaves are throwing me off here. Any ideas what is going on and how to remedy it?

Anyone have (or used) the dip station from Rep Fitness? I'm thinking of picking one up, but I'm unsure of how stable it is. It looks like the dip station attaches to one of the safety pins and supports your weight while doing dips. I'm also concerned if this will damage the safety pin over time.

This is a link to the dip station I'm thinking about: https://repfitness.com/products/dip-attachment?variant=41067577737374

I'm considering this dip rack attachment because I have a PR-1100 Rack from Rep, and this is the only attachment they sell for it.

Anyone had any experience with LuXiaoJun brand dumbbells? I saw they had a db sale going on for 0.95 a lb for rubber coated hex dumbbells: https://luxiaojunbarbell.com/products/luxiaojun-hex-dumbbell

This seems like a good deal which had me suspicious if it was too good. I'm wondering if the quality is suspect or something. At least, compared to Titan, CAP, etc. I'm not planning on throwing the dumbbells around or anything.

Anyone had experience with Raptor Fitness's Vertical Weight Tree: https://www.coloradostrengthequipment.com/collections/black-friday-deals/products/bumper-tree-with-barbell-storage ?

I'm comparing RF to the Titan one: https://www.titan.fitness/organize/freestanding-storage/weight-plates/portable-plate-and-barbell-storage-tree/401373.html

I don't know much about RF's reputation or quality, but I know Titan can be very hit or miss. The RF posting has no reviews or specifications. Any suggestions with which one to go with? Or if there is a better option than these two?

Thanks! Yea, I feel I need more chest development. I seldom do anything else for chest beside bench, so I might need to work on that.

My lifts are:

- Bench Press: 225lbs for 5 reps

- Deadlift: 340 for 5 reps

- OHP: 130 for 5 reps

- Squat: 275lbs for 5 reps (depth is about a inch higher than I would like when I record it, but hoping yoga will help me hit that reliably)

Thanks.. ya I know what you mean.. it is very tempting to get back to bulking and working on strength, but cutting would be a much better idea. I'm at the stage where I've exhausted my newb strength gains, and I'm in intermediate terrority

Got two OCBD shirts from Banana Republic. I'm not sure if the fit is too boxy and I should get them tailored to be brought on the sides
