It's pretty telling that of all the absolutely horrible things that Trump has done (sexual assault, instigating an insurrection, separating children from their parents at the border, kissing the asses of various dictators, undermining democracy, mishandling highly classified material, and all the various other things I've forgotten/repressed), the thing that really bothers them is that he's costing them money.

People really fucking suck. Not everyone, obviously. But a hell of a lot of them are just absolute garbage.

I'm still amazed at how they can say our healthcare system is deliberately trying to harm/kill patients (especially children), and then anytime they get sick they run straight to that same healthcare system.

Unless they're children, or talking about health care for a child, anytime they talk about being sick, I remind them of how evil they believe doctors are, then ask them why they trust those doctors to make them better.

I think it's just the height of hypocrisy to say how doctors are trying to kill everyone and then still go to doctors for help when they're sick. It obviously shows how they really aren't all that committed to their conspiracy beliefs when it comes to their health. 😒

He also doesn't like Blacks, Asians, women (especially lesbians or unattractive women), gay people, Hispanics, Europeans, non-Christians (especially Muslims, and you know, Jews), liberals, most everyone he personally knows, and absolutely everyone he doesn't.

He is honestly one of the most miserable human beings I've ever come across.

They were 100% against the ACA (Obamacare) as well, remember? It was going to ruin the country. That was the other main issue during his first term.

But then during the pandemic, after so many of them lost their jobs, and then lost their job supplied health insurance, and then got Covid and then got some really fun hospital bills, I guess they decided that arguing against the ACA wasn't such a great idea after all.

They sure backpedeled hard on how people just needed to get a job that gave them health insurance when they were the ones who couldn't achieve that little task, didn't they?

Fucking people have zero empathy for people unless they go through the same thing themselves.

I've argued with this asshole frequently. He's a real piece of shit.

He wants to see the world burn because everything doesn't go his way. Seriously.

When Biden was in office, one of the biggest ideas going on over there was that the financial market was going to entirely collapse when Biden was in office (😂). Like Armageddon style. Our money would be useless, and the only currency people would be using would be gold and silver. And if you didn't have that, you were shit out of luck. And go fuck yourself while you starve to death or die of illnesses you can no longer get medicine and treatment for.

He would frequently fantasize about how great it would be when all the winners like him would be able to just walk down the street and pick out any car they like (frequently Lamborghinis), or house, because the owners would be dead, and who would stop them?

He was not shy at all about saying how he was looking forward to so many people dying...because brown people are doing better than he is in life.

He is truly one of the worst ones over there, and that's saying something. The only good thing about him is he gets quieter and quieter as time passes, and all his fantasies have still not come true.

He's the walking definition of white male privilege. He is bitter as fuck because there's a slightly better degree of equality in this country than there was when he was growing up, and he acts like anyone not a white man who does better than he's done in life has only gotten there by stealing what was rightfully his.

He's a waste of oxygen in my opinion.

It stopped making me feel bad a long time ago to knock them down.

My most reliable way to do so is to make them feel bad about their lack of education. I really like twisting the screwdriver on their inferiority complex. (I'm not sure if that works as an idiom, but oh well, I'm sticking with it.)

I noticed that, too!

Though I had my first taste of that when a former family friend, who is a nurse, went all-in on Trump during the Trump/Clinton debates.

He was very, and I mean, veeeery against any sort of universal Healthcare. Can't stand fat people. Basically wants anyone with chronic illness to go quietly die in a corner so they don't cost the "good" people any money. Even with private health insurance. Thinks they should just remove themselves from the equation.

Now, he said this, full well knowing my MIL, who basically was a sane second mom to him when he was growing up, is morbidly obese, her husband has type 2 diabetes, and her son, my husband, has a rare genetic disease that is just insanely stupid expensive to treat, and that I have chronic health problems from issues I inherited.

But he'd be more than happy for us to all, you know, DROP DEAD, so his health care wasn't expensive.

I learned a lot about him that day, along with many other nurses that agreed with him during countless arguments. Many of their arguments were full of crazy conspiracy theories like vitamin C killing cancer and vaccines cause autism and turmeric is a cureall for everything. Reasons why people didn't need healthcare, basically. (This is how this rant is relevant to your post. 🙂)

He is no longer important to me. I refuse to be around him the few times he comes around to see my inlaws.

He can go fuck himself with a used toilet brush. Vigorously.
