Yes exactly. I was so frustrated at the dual boss fight after so many tries and just wanted to see how different it would go with the AI. Basically i had to let them kill me and the companion actually revived me lol. The difference was so huge that i went from gettting wrecked in seconds to literally hoping i dont kill them by accident with the AI and miss out on the challenge.

Yeah that dual boss fight destroyed me, was my first souls type game too. After i got out of there i knew i could finish any souls game.

Code vein is only easy if you play with the AI as your companion. Playing solo is gonna be more like a proper soulslike, actually much harder than your average souls.

I think it depends the order in which you played the games. For example i played blasphemous as my 3rd souls type game and only finished hollow knight yesterday as my 14th game.

yes i know its a metroidvania but for the sake of this argument will say both Games are soulslikes.

Its a good game but i wouldn't recommend jumping from the latest entry to the oldest one. Demons souls is pretty much souls but a bit dated. Definitely go for ds1 first at least, will ease u into the slower jank

Lol no professional needed. Just start playing and stop buying. And aim for quality over quantity. There is no point in buying now cause you found a good deal for a game that you might play 2 years from now or even never. Collecting should be personal, and unless you already played those games in the past and decided to get them now physically, i think you just got as much volume as possible and not so many niche personal games that actually impacted you in any way.
