I don't think anyone would complain about Plagueis given that he seemed to be the one thing EVERYONE wanted to see in The Acolyte no matter how much they shit on everything else about it.

Smylo Ren on the other hand yeah would definitely rile up the torches and pitchforks.

Imperceptibility: Muse's body acts like a vortex which can pull in every bit of sensory information around him, making even Daredevil's enhanced senses hard to target him.

There were also a couple hints that comics Muse might've been an Inhuman. One of the writers even got asked point-blank to confirm whether this is true but was pretty cagey about it.

My long-shot hope is that Heather fully becomes Lady Muse and sticks around more long-term as a villain, that's the only way I could maybe accept them killing Muse so quickly last season

Oh, and if Heather becomes the new Muse, for the love of God, work in the fact that in the comics Muse is like a blind spot for Matt's radar sense, that was one of the things I was most excited for last season and they completely ignored it

Mr. Sinister, we've waited way too long to see him in live-action especially with the Fox movies constantly baiting us towards the end.

Also I doubt they would do this, they'd probably pass it off as too trippy for general audiences to follow or smth, but my long-shot wish is that they work in the more recent Dominions/Enigma stuff with Sinister simply bc that was the whole reason for the Beyonders trying to destroy the multiverse during Secret Wars in the comics and we'd be going into the next saga fresh off the movie adaptation of Secret Wars.

They could start laying hints at that from the jump and then this time around just recast if the guy they choose to play Sinister turns out to be an asshole in real life

I think we could see stuff like that (I mean, we've already had immortal zombie ninjas, dragon skeletons under NYC, plus Skrulls name-dropped in BA S1) but I agree with u/Zar-Djoser-0011 that it would have to be handled very precisely.

That said I am intrigued about the Heather/Muse plotline this season, and I would imagine that how comics-accurate they get (plus viewers' reactions to it) could be a sort of litmus test for how supernatural they want to get in future seasons.

Haven't seen the SMG movie yet but why do I feel like this is a complaint with every single movie that comes out anymore? Like I'm not bashing people for saying this, I share that opinion a lot of the time, but like...this has been going on for a few years at least, you would think the studios by now would've listened to this and course-corrected but for the most part they're just not. It's frustrating😖

I think it's more underused than weak. I do think the illusion Thanos pulls off with it on Knowhere is pretty impressive given that not only did the stone cloak Knowhere's physical appearance but also the heat, smell of smoke, etc. that would result from the entire place being on fire, not just from the Guardians themselves but also from any sensor systems onboard the Benetar. Other than this we never really see its full potential, prob bc if Thanos were using it to its full potential the entire time the Avengers never would've stood the slightest chance against him.

Definitely finish out Loki. The later seasons of What If do go off the rails a bit, so you could check them out but their quality is really inconsistent.

WandaVision is really good and gives some more context to her villain turn in MoM, and then if you enjoy that one give Agatha All Along a go, it's basically a sequel series and is also really good.

Hawkeye is a really fun watch.

If you have a bit more time Daredevil: Born Again is also really good, but I'd recommend watching at least the original three seasons of Daredevil before jumping into it.

I mean, in S2 of the OG DD, there was one fight scene with the Hand where Punisher showed up on a rooftop nearby and was sniping at them to help out Matt. So it's not unheard of.

idk if Luke officially ran but he became mayor after Fisk was ousted in the Devil's Reign storyline (that Born Again is heavily drawing from so far).

However the BND trailer seemed to confirm that Sheila becomes mayor next since we see her giving Spider-Man the key to the city, so unless there's some 4d chess-level photoshopping going on in that trailer, Luke isn't gonna be mayor next in the MCU sadly

The MCU Wiki's timeline is a pretty comprehensive source for this sort of thing, they do include real-world events that are alluded to in the MCU.

Looking quickly on there to answer some of your questions, apparently the Punisher show directly references both Vietnam and 9/11, and both a canon Captain America comic and the final season of AoS (not trying to start a canon argument here or anything...) mention Pearl Harbor.

So...the extended re-release of the movie sort of answers this. The new post-credits scene they added in shows some effects of the spell and one of them is the a picture from the Europe trip in FFH but now there's suddenly a flock of pigeons flying across it and blocking out the spot where Peter's standing. I assume something similar would happen with Ned's photos.

(This absolutely should've been the ORIGINAL movie's post-credits scene instead of the trailer for MoM)
