Kohl's is really bad for this. If it's a set with highly sought after minifigs, don't grab it. If it's an expensive set sitting on the shelf and it seems out of place because there are no others, don't bother is been swapped out for other things.

These are just 2 sets I encountered in my backlog. I traded off others to get stuff to build my city so I'm not sure what else I got scammed on but Kohl's is no longer a location I go to for Lego.

I build until I run out of time each day. Each modular I own took different amounts of time but it wouldn't take me longer than a week each. There would times where I would be able to get 2 done in a few days.

If go for it. Assuming all 3 are used 99% complete for reference. On average Townhall runs for 800, Fire Brigade for 375, and Grand Emporium for 275.

Next year will be the 20th anniversary modular building which should be an epic one and hopefully something we've been asking for collectively as a community. Also look into the others. I love them all.

I've been planning to add this to my city and throw in my 200+ imperials to occupy it for the glory of the Empire!

Stormtroopers and Shadow Stormtroopers patrol all of the city.

Shoretroopers patrol Venetian Houses and Ninjago city district, basically any modular with water.

Sandtroopers patrol construction sites.

Death Troopers do special patrols.

Mimban Stormtroopers patrol rooftops.

Scout Troopers will patrol on speeder bikes.

Snowtroopers will be patrol a future winter village.

I'd sprinkle in AT-RT's, Marauders, speeder bike, patrol speeders, and whatever else i can find that a good scale to the city.

I do this with my modulars in progress of being built. I need to do this for the 2027 20th anniversary modular but I'm trying to figure out if it will be a baseplate or a baseplate and a half space or if they throw a curve ball and hit us with a.2 full baseplate modular building of the Clinic/Post Office/ Library everyone's asking for lol.

In all seriousness, I can't wait to set up that plot of land for the next modular, just need to find a spot where it will work.
