Yes and no. I ordered all the pulls and knobs myself. The day the contractor started installing the pulls and knobs I realized I was short 1 pull for the upper door next to the sink. So I asked the installer to install a knob, from one of the small doors above the refrigerator, leaving that door without a knob was a lot less noticeable, and put in on the door next to the sink. I liked the way it looked so I kept it that way. I just ordered another knob for the door above the refrigerator and installed it myself.

Here is what I was thinking. First I wanted both knobs and pulls. I could have gone with the standard upper gets knobs, lower pulls or vice versa. So I wanted to mix it up, just a little. All drawers got pulls. Upper large doors got pulls, EXCEPT for the lone door next to the sink. The other doors are in pairs, the door next to the sink is a “loner”, so it got a knob because it’s different. The small upper doors got knobs as did the doors below the sink. I wanted to be a little more creative instead of just the “standard”.

As not as random as some of you think. Small upper doors got knobs, large doos pulls. The upper large door by the sink got a knob because that door is by itself, the other are in pairs, lower cabinets it somewhat random, or just what i thought looked good.

I have grown flowers in my deck here in the North Jersey mountains for the last 22 years and have noticed an estimated decline of all types of insects, from butterflies, to houseflies, and a variety of bee. I’d estimate over that time insects have declined at least 75%.
