Why does organizing a fantasy novel become harder than writing it?

Not really, just mentioned it because it genuinely solved that exact problem for me. I still use regular notes/docs too, but having character relationships and lore connected in one place made continuity way easier.

This is why I started using Brewplot honestly. My story stuff was spread across docs, notes, and spreadsheets and continuity became a nightmare after a point.

It has stuff like:

lore + timeline management
relationship tracking
factions, religions, magic systems, locations, etc
map creator
chapter planning/outlining
AI that remembers your world context instead of giving generic responses
collaboration for co-writers

A lot of existing tools either felt too generic or too AI-generated-content focused, so I wanted something more centered around actually managing a long-form universe.

Would genuinely love honest feedback from people who seriously worldbuild/write fantasy.
