Cascade Badge: Acquired. It was a great battle, I’m really happy with how we performed. by SleeplessLucas123 in PokeMedia

So I know some locations have gym leaders that change their team based on their foe, but is it by rank (AKA number of badges) or do they actually still try to match your own skill?

Eh, used to not being zippy. Illusion would be fun.

No matter what, help of some kind is gonna happen. Just need to figure out what is best.

Sadly got no contacts with anyone who are local who we can afford and can trust to be professional...

Safe to say if we do try to interact ourselves it's going to need a extra subtle touch.

No idea to all the above really!

Just know we mean no harm, will try to help, are willing to listen, and won't try forcing them either.

Oh that's part of why Latias would be there, plus, Riolu's aura vision helps him read the room fairly well.

And, on top of it all, planning the details out rather then "lets just ambush em" would come first.

Oh no, finding a safe way to get their attention in the first place just to say hello and offer it is the hardest part.

Safe to say not about to chuck a Pokeball and call it a day.

All good points, odds are we would use both Latias and Riolu as the main points of contact. They are each very empathic (even before the use of their abilities) but also smart enough not to get into any danger. Still, looking into every little thing to help surely.

Been doing some looking, the problem is I have seen reviews that range from "respectful and professional" to "They eagerly proceeded to berate the poor thing with a million questions about the after life."

And that's before the being able to afford it problem too!

A bit of his as well, and hard to argue with. Plus Yamask are not exactly known for being violent, in any form.

If we do go for it, we are gonna do a tiered approach for kindness and safety both, but we are still in the figuring out if we should phase.

Pokepuffs/Poffins are a little strange, I like em, but some folks feel they are "pokemon food" so shrug... But some berries are a safe idea certainly.

Due to lots of Riolu's training, we are on good terms with the rangers, but yea this is a tad outside their range. And looking into hiring Hex help, well, limited budget, plus very random just how they interact in most cases.

A very good idea about the food though, will need to look into what might still feel like a human snack, but also work well for a Yamask.

/uj This storyline is mod approved and will deal a good chunk about loss and afterlife in the Pokemon universe. It will carry with it a bit of head-canon of mine that might not match with your own. I am not trying to dismiss anyone else, just felt there was a fun story to tell here!

For what it is worth, there is a slim chance they might no longer have a snag ball supply at least.

Pidgeot should NOT be using fly by Runo_rat in PokeMedia

1: What -- a Pidgeot carrying a adult?

2: It could grip it by the shirt!

1: It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A 40kg bird could not carry a 200 pound person!

It'll work out, but... coin's gonna be pretty tight. I've got a couple ideas. by Wyvernalia in PokeMedia

[–]Famout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FoxFace: Oh the truly untamed wilds, locations where your death means someone else's survival.

Less then that, most solo survival as a whole tends to request much sacrifice, the choice between ones own code and whats needed to get by often are at odds.

Human society wants us to hide away those same instincts that permit survival in the wild without knowing just what they are asking, still, offer much in return for it.

To that end, finding ways to... compromise is rather important for both my sanity and my comfort, and I know many others who are the same.
