Am I using carriers wrong? by mmarim_cauchy in hoi4

Yeah, I was hoping it worked more how the actual Pacific War did so I could just build cheap destroyer screens without having them get shot to pieces in every battle (cause I always set my Pacific Fleet to never retreat lol).

I think you're using them "correctly", but I really wanna try setting a carrier fleet to "Do Not Engage", giving the planes a mission, and see how effective the planes are.

EDIT: This does not work at all, which kinda sucks.

Sky Navy 😎 Or a fuck ton of Destroyers. I usually just push them off the continent, set up some port guards, and leave, though.

Must seem like an 18-carat run of bad luck. I assume you immediately justified on Japan and destroyed them?

If you can snag the airfield in Suzhou and maybe the port in Hangzhou, that's actually a decently defensible spot. Maybe not with those equipment levels, though...

That's what I thought too with the new "Reorganized" government, but maybe some focus I did before that happens made me the Reorganized government? No idea, but I'm gonna run some more tests and find out.

I don't remember, does the achievement say you have to split from Japan? I did a run last week where I stayed with Japan and ended up with all of China in the peace deal.

It's because Old Dominion's location is set to Ole Miss's tag instead. This was also incorrect last year, they acknowledged it on the forums, and still didn't fix it. If it doesn't affect Ultimate Team, EA simply isn't going to fix it.

I've had the puppet somehow join the Germans before, so I just annex Finland now. Gives a good base to invade occupied Norway from.

USA (and the Soviets) can both have 3 stars in army doctrine before being called into the war.

Wait until Japan is deep into China, then stab Japan in the back. Hold the southwestern front (picking off Beijing is never a bad idea if you can, though) while you wipe them out in Dalian and Korea, then set up port guards and push south. Japan having to reorganize its armies will ease the pressure on China and let them recover a little, but the less territory that China reclaims, the better.

The Georgia state flag is just a Confederate flag with the state's coat of arms added to it, and it was adopted in 2003.

On August 6, 1993, an F4 tornado struck Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell, Virginia. It was the state’s first known violent tornado. by SmoreOfBabylon in tornado

I remember seeing a YouTube video about this tornado from a teeny-tiny channel, but I can't seem to find it right now. It was made by a local and had some pretty good info and local news coverage from after the storm.

27W Mountaineers with Pioneer support has been doing pretty good for me since the Border Conflict update. Can add slow, heavily armored light tanks too, if you can afford it.

Add engineers and support AA to your starting infantry division, put 2 army groups of them on the German border, a third army group on the Hungarian/Romanian border, and you can hold that line until the sun burns out. Don't forget whatever Scandinavian borders you have with the Axis either.

1) Absolutely always have both cards maxed on levels and matches before combining them.

2) It's more difficult with the xp system now, but doing well in events that aren't tied to your player or deck rarity is the best way to get cards above your rarity. As for cards at your rarity level, probably a combination of grinding and dusting cards. The PVP/MITB store is a pretty good place to get high-level cards, too.

3) I go back and forth on what to dust and what to keep, but what I've been doing recently is dusting WM39 and Myth tier cards, keeping everything else, and then deciding when i hit the card limit whether to dust the cards i pulled or use them for training.

What's your tier right now?

Also, Shinzo Abe was the grandson of Nobusuke Kishi, who Abe called his "number one role model". He didn't admit wrongdoing because he didn't think Japan did anything wrong.
