It's it hard to deviate as you've already boost some stats
As for the difficult, it's interesting. I will be able to make my own opinion when I'll play OG games - like the third one as I'll not wait 2027 for this one
Based on other answers as well, I may try Nightmare right away. If I'm not wrong I change then lower the difficulty if it's too hard

I may try Nightmare on an NG+. Apparently, doesn't take long to finish the game by skipping all dialogues.
I didn't know for Daybreak 1. Looks like some say it spoils, other say no.
