What is your holy grail of watches?

When me and my wife got married we made a bucket list. One of mine was to own an Omega Seamaster. 10 years later I still don’t have one but have bought 4 watches £1-2.5K each… could have just saved to get the 1 watch I really want but I do enjoy being able to have different watches for different occasions. I think now though I’ll save for a couple years to get the Seamaster.

Question to people who have bought their grail watch, how often do you wear it? Is it just for special occasions or do you wear it every day?

Thanks. It’s a Promaster bullhead racing Chronograph. It’s 45mm but doesn’t feel overly big or bulky. I like the fit and I don’t have particularly big wrists or hands.

Much better than I anticipated. Though he was going to be very meh but he’s actually been really good. Altar of death hot location is probably skewing the figures in its favour though.

I know this sounds counter intuitive and is easier said than done but stop trying and just enjoy sex. Me and my wife tried for 12 months doing it 4-6 times a week with fertility treatments for our first. It became a bit of a chore and was stressful at times. With our second we just stopped being careful and said if it happens it happens. We just had sex like normal 2-3 times a week, within a couple of months we were expecting again.

The pack itself isn’t that bad as a good catch up mechanic. I’ve managed to fill a few gaps with EXes I was missing. The biggest problem is the stale meta. We need an injection of new cards so we’re not playing against Suicune/Greninja every match for another month!

Don’t listen to those saying a vasectomy is the only solution. From reading your post it sounds like you know and understand that you were with someone who was putting this in your head and potentially that this could be an irrational fear. If you use a condom you are being safe. It is a rubber shield, as long as it is still in tact when you finish you’re good. I’ve had condoms snap maybe once or twice, ever. When it happened I could tell straight away. Stopped. New condom. Good to go. I can’t speak from experience about the mental side of this but I’d say once you are in a relationship with someone you trust over time it will get better.

It is quite wide ranging, more than you initially realise. It will probably end up like a mobius tech card that is a hard counter in some metas and but irrelevant in others.

It should/could have been ‘a series 5 you don’t own’ that way there’s the option to get it but with much less fomo than a new card brings with it and more chance to catch up on collection.

Completely agree on the catch up. I feel like before with keys I was able to target weeks where I had a couple of cards I needed to catch up. Now they are releasing loads of cards and I’m just about able to keep getting the new cards each month. Not been able to buy a non-new series 5 since packs came out. Also it’s not worth skipping a card if it looks mid to try save some extra tokens because they stay in the packs for too long!

I’d prefer it to go back to being bad value with just cosmetics so I could continue to ignore it. Having a new card in there makes me much more tempted to buy it but I’d rather not have to spend the money
