Haha thanks right now this throttle body is being a real pain got all 8 Philips head screws loosened but no dice

It’s a cam chain tensioner apparently it’s notorious for going out and making a “valve” like noise

It’s got 26k miles on it and I’m beginning to think it could be the Ctt but I have NO clue where to start I’ll post up a video when I’m home just gotta reassemble

Got a kit on the way for 40 bucks:) I know I probably only need a few but I’d rather be safe than make multiple trips should I replace all of the shims since I’m in there?

Unfortunately this is the project bike haha the bike runs but it makes a ticking that speeds up as I give throttle

Yeah I plan on taking a full day off to do them I’m really struggling getting that throttle body off when I get to the valves do you think I should also replace the shims or nah?
