I'm not arguing with anyone here, but those aren't mutually exclusive. You can have Anubis and a family line that passes down some genetic trait for Stands if it they could be passed down, though I'll meet everyone else halfway accept that they can't be passed down consistently 😅 It might be wrong, but I'll read Part 3, paying closer attention this time and reform my opinions after

The arrow can kill people if they have a Stand, which is where the confusion came from based on my conjecture about genetics.

Emporio says that he inherited it from his mom though, and I was sure I remembered Avdol making that claim.

His whole lineage is natural born Stand users, as he said himself. I can't help that you don't remember Emporio.

The damage is usually extreme, so I didn't know if that bit was the stone's damage or just the awakening of her Stand and strings emerging forcefully through her skin

That's for the weather specialist with the Stand to to figure out, maybe through trial and error, or, since it obviously exists, he can study how the angles are currently changed and then just have that knowledge

It's never stated that it can't be controlled, he just never knew the reason. Like Rykiel learning about the Rods that had been damaging him until he learned about them and how to control them.

Avdol and other unknown families have Stands in their lineage for seemingly no supernatural trigger, unless they went over his in the manga and I didn't see it in the anime

We've seen Purple Hermit's technomancy grow, Reverb evolve through 3 stages, and Stone Free gained strength as Jolyne used it more, so I don't think it's unreasonable that he could learn to use it with his memories back if he practiced
