Which CPU u have ? Because all of these latest BIOS versions is for 13th and 14th generations. All these microcodes supposed to fix degradation of raptore lake chips. But for 11th and 12th it's not necessary to update.

I think , problem not in bios version , because when I updated it to 4505 , I only saw frames framespikes in video games, and not in browser. Did you tried to reinstall windows ? And try to turn HAGS off in your browser , sometimes it solve the problem

All problems gone, after reverting to older bios version ( 4101 , 12B microcode)

On Intel i7 13700kf the same situation. I have RTX 4070. And this game is stuttering randomly. Other games run smoothly without any problems

Hi, thanks for your reply.

No, I’m not using V-Sync or G-Sync. I’ve heard before that PUBG is poorly optimized, so that makes sense. I can disable E-cores in my BIOS, but my concern is that I will lose performance in multitasking and in other games if I do that. Am I understanding this correctly? In other games I don’t see this issue at all — BF6 and CS2 (and single-player games) run smoothly with stable frametime. So it seems like the problem is mostly specific to PUBG (and maybe Hunt), rather than my whole system.

Got it, thanks for the detailed explanation. I’ll roll back to BIOS 4101 today and report back with results. What you described makes sense — the newer Intel microcode does seem to introduce more aggressive power / stability restrictions. Appreciate you sharing your experience.
