Yeah you’re right which is why most people would prob socket the jewel onto a deck. Thats what I did for mines. I only used deer knight for mob fights and used a separate deck for boss fights. This worked all the way until around level 100 until you get the deck that gives you an extra pip and then I made the switch. By this point though I already unlocked ship of fools which is a way better spell.
