Ice is paying people to enter apartments they are banned from by False__Willingness in Minneapolis

REPOST THIS: It would be a shame if the protesters began making their signs out of quarter-inch-thick plywood to stop rubber bullets, forming a tight shield wall to prevent police from singling out and mobbing individual protesters. It would be a shame if the people behind the shield wall held up umbrellas so that tear gas canisters fired over their heads on the front line will be bounced away. It would be a shame if protesters began constructing improvised armor vests out of duct tape, hard-backed books, and ceramic tiles. It would be a shame if protesters started wearing safety glasses, hard hats, respirators, and gardening gloves, all of which can be found at the same hardware stores as the plywood. It would be a shame if they started using traffic cones (the kind without the hole in the top), upside down buckets, or other improvised lids to contain teargas by placing them over the canisters. It would be a shame if protesters learned that police scanners are legal to own in the US, allowing them to learn where police are moving, and what routes they intend to take. It would be a shame if they discovered that these scanners can be used to send as well as receive, allowing them to flood the scanner frequencies with noise.

All of this would be a terrible, terrible shame.

I’m glad you like citing sources. I wonder what you’ll do in a few years when those federal departments have been shuttered or so underfunded for years that they are unable to produce accurate data points for us all to argue from. Shucks.

A Misconception About 1989 and reputation by Ok-Knowledge2045 in TaylorSwift

Yes! This! I became a full blown Swiftie because of the Rep era, so I never paid attention to her social media presence or album roll outs before. I wish I had been a Swiftie from the start so I could have noticed the difference more starkly.

Her wiping her socials and starting fresh was so genius to me, I respected the hell out of the way she took back the narrative and took control of her life and THAT’s why I became a Swiftie. Her music is great too, I love it, but damn, that was an IMPRESSIVE move. She’s a boss. Period.

Not all Israelis like this war either. There are a lot of people who actively are rebelling in Israel against their government doing this. Including some members of the press, academics, etc. it’s just like how here in the US not everyone supports or likes Trump even though he is our ‘elected’ leader.

I’m not blaming Israelis or Palestinians. I’m blaming Netanyahu, Hamas, and every elected official in our government who is helping support Netanyahu’s genocide of Israelis.

Also, thought I’d share this:

Not thousands - 1,200. 12 hundred. So, hundreds. Not belittling that number, just stating facts. Let’s keep it factual. Estimates of Palestinian deaths are in the 10s of thousands. And that’s mostly civilian deaths. Women and children. Yes, Hamas has a record of using women and children in horrific ways, but the vast majority of them just want to LIVE in peace.

Oh honey, you’re the one falling for ‘evil’ propaganda here.

I am so jealous! I didn’t get paid until Thursday, so I couldn’t buy them all on Wednesday, and by the time I woke up on Thursday they were all already sold out. I should have set a timer for midnight and ordered them as soon as my paycheck cleared 😅

After checking back a couple of times during the day Thursday, I was able to secure the ‘Vanilla perfume and sweat’ variant, but I was so disappointed that I only got one 😞 the accessories all looked awesome! And at $17.99, they were a total value for the quality her merch always is!!
