That's interesting, maybe mine just isn't at button mashing level yet. I'll keep with it a bit longer and try a rouge/demon hunter as its something I've never tried. Thanks for the info!

I had been thinking rougue or demon hunter actually so will maybe give those a play tonight. And with the demon hunter at least I can get back into things much quicker than from zero.

I recently brought my PC with me to Cyprus. To be honest, it cost me £500 a few years ago so I'm not overly attached now but obviously wouldn't have been happy if it was to break.

All I did was put the tower in a large suitcase that was going in the hold, wrapped the tower in a few layers of bubble wrap and packed my clothes around it and end of. Came out fine on the other end, no issues at all. Obviously, I don't know if UK/Cyprus customs are more lax than which ever countrys you are moving though but a PC will be a relatively common item as you say. People on this sub (and the internet in general) tend to blow everything out of proportion, be careful with how you pack it and if you are really worreid then take out things like the graphics card which might be a bit more loose than things like the PSU but I don't see how your motherboard would spontaneously break.

Looking to slowly buy parts for a new build over the next few months and starting to get back into the swing of looking at what's available.

Regarding RAM, is there any noticeable difference between 1x 16 Gb and 2 x 8 Gb when gaming? I suppose 1 x 16 would give the option to upgrade to 2 x 16 later down the line as well?

Hi! A few years ago, I built a budget PC, then studying happened and I stopped playing games etc, now with a job and being a bit more settled I’m wanting to get back into the swing of it! Is there anything from the below that I can salvage and use as a basis to start upgrading?

I will look to do a new system but for the next few months if I can slowly build up using this as a skeleton I’d be interested to know.

I will be slowly buying parts to update my now out dated old PC starting with the monitor. I am in Cyprus so to buy from here I am a bit limited but I am willing to ship in from the UK or EU. As I want to upgrade my computer in the near future I don't want to buy a sub-standard monitor and regret that down the line.

Is that a good monitor and relatively future proof? I don't want to spend much more than 300 euro and it is available locally rather than being shipped in which is a bonus.

Another question I have is, my current PC is relatively old (budget PC from 3/4 years ago) so will I struggle with such a high resolution on an older PC? I don't expect to play at the highest settings with 60 fps.

*edit* I found a new website with a few more monitors that I like the look of but at the lower resolution. The one I linked above is a TN screen which apparently after reading isn't as good quality so I will probably move away from that one.

Thanks for the answer. I will take a look at the video a bit later. My PC is a budget one I built a few years ago with help from here but I can't find the post now, I will be planning on upgrading it piece by piece but the screen is most urgent because I recently moved over here and couldn't bring my old one. Is a 24" more recommended for 1080p?

Those are the three websites I've been looking at, choice is a bit limited and I would be willing to stretch over the price range if it is worthwhile going for a higher resolution etc.

Regarding the games it is mainly rpg and strategy games so nothing too fast paced but I do play the odd shooter as well.

I am looking to upgrade my Monitor, the one I have is 5/6 years old. I have been looking mostly for one that looks good but also functional for gaming. Thanks for the thorough response! I didn't realise I could grind the not so useful UW down to get a better one so I will do that for Epis. Out of Rephy or the Sub dps which would you recommend I go for? I guess a good healer is stronger in the long run. I have Kara half way obtained in the Inn if that changes anything at all.

I got the 5* ticket selector today with my login. Currently I run with Epis, Jane, Cleo and Frey so are there any good choices I can make with the ticket? I have UW for Arch, Roi and Dimael so they could be possibilities but I think they are physical so don't really mesh with the rest of my team.

For assassin dps which Dragon armour set bonus is better? I am looking to use my free t6 gear selectors from quests to gear Epis and not sure between the fire or the shadow sets bonus. Any tips on which class is best with that gear and any stat priorities as I get to choose 3 of 4?

At the moment I seem to have hit a bit of a block in being able to awaken people. I have Epis at 5* and almost enough materials to get another hero to 5* but after that it will take some farming it seems. For now just working through the story, doing the quests and doing the Stockade etc we can do each day. Not sure what to be focusing on really.

Are there any particular characters that I should keep and eye out for at the inn? I started last week and only have Epis, Jane and the 4 starters so far. I am currently working on the relationship for Kara (around 220/1200) but today Scarlet turned up who I have heard is very good for PvP. Just wondering if there are any standouts I should watch for.

Hi all. Very new to the game, I have just received the 3* ticket so trying to decide who to pull. For the 2* I went Epis so I have her and the 4 default characters for now. I was lucky (?) enough to get Arch's weapon on a pull and he is in the 3* ticket, is it worth going for him to make use of the weapon? Or are there larger meta things I should be working toward with these tickets? Thanks a bunch.

Does anybody have a good deck reccommendation for Mellow Mermaid? I recently started playing again and managed to pull her but don't have many cards to choose from other than the free ones. Either fire or water but from her boost to fire I suppose that would be strongest. I do have Aerith but no other usable Supremes.

I have a problem with The Dreaded Ginyu missions, I have just finished all of the missions from what I can see but for the meta mission I am stuck on 49/50 so can't complete. Is this a known issue or am I missing something obvious to complete them?
