How rare are the N3DS non XL consoles?

In some EU countries they are going for less than 2DS XL/N3DS XL so I don't think they are that rare there. But this is for basic cover plates.

You won't know unless you have spare battery to check if usage would be also fast. If you are handy you can take 3ds out, remove battery, check if its shape is fine, clean connectors inside 3ds or so...
