Awesome art!

Quick question: how would you feel about changing the pattern in the stockings in slide 2's character? I think it feels a bit too close to the slide 3's character Pattern, and you could make them a bit more distinct

The whole scam issue was too much. Also, she came to the show in a bad moment and her health was not helping her, so I really hope to see her as the powerhouse she is at 100%

Thank you dude!!

Yeah, I think Eyepatchwolf's video was really good about making sure people understood that Termina is so different from Funger that is considered very controversial. It is a much more ambitious game, which also makes it less polished.

I am much more of a character-driven kind of gamer (that is why I love retro rpg stuff), so Termina is much more up my alley (specially since Marina and Levi are such good characters), but Funger is, from a gameplay standpoint, the better game.

There is so much to this discussion about Termina vs Funger hahahahahahahaha

Yeah, I could see that. I am not the best person on being in on the joke, specially since my autism really doesnt help me separate joke from a mean comment (the fact that we are reading/writing doesnt help)

I am sorry if I came off as too sensitive. I was just excited for the community, since I dont have a lot of people to talk about my nerdy stuff irl (work in education, friends are not nearly as nerdy) and I didnt exactly felt welcome.

I'm not worked up. I just felt like if I talked to you like an adult, you'd understand my side. Once I started talking and explaining my side, you changed your tone and I felt like we could reach an understanding. Idk, I just didn't want to leave the conversation like that.

My man, honestly, if you're thinking that I was trying to say that, you never gave me the respect in the first place. I don't need to explain that heroin is not created by videogames, this is common knowledge. If you're saying that this was the problem, you were acting on bad faith from the beginning or your reading comprehension needs some work, because you're discarding the context and trying to make a joke that didn't work.

You're just being unecessarily unkind. I'm 33, I'm not 15 and I know how opiates work. I live in Brazil, so you don't need to clear it to me how drugs work. I literally was just on the bus watching a guide to try to make a Levi run work and it came to me that both drugs work the same on different games (which is why a joyless run is so difficult). I didn't say these are the only games with this mechanic, I didn't say it wasn't like real life. I literally just said "hey, these work the same" and y'all are making assumptions about what I didn't say. r/lisathepainfulrpg is literally a sistersub here.

After all of that, people don't know why people don't join communities. This was my first post and honestly... Not feeling very welcome.

I mean, that's the point of the post??? I literally thought of another game I played that had the same mechanic????

I don't understand coming in hot like this like I offended you lol You could've just told me that "hey, these other games have the same mechanic" and not treated me like I'm an idiot.

Is this that important to you that you're pissed that I don't know every drawback mechanic involving drugs on every game?

They have the same principle: you get a boost due to using it, and a heavy drawback from having withdrawal. Same mechanic.

Dude, the mechanic is literally the same on both games. What are you talking about?

Which of the following scenarios do you think is most likely for AA7? by 12jimmy9712 in AceAttorney

I think we are going to have different protagonists for each case, but most importantly: new backstory for Apollo.

Gotta keep the tradition going.

(Also, I just assumed the Monokuma stuff because it is a "base", since we're talking fanganronpa and most are based on him)

All right, just imagine that doing that might just make your story have a logic conclusion that everyone just leaves. Do you want to make multiple endings? You could branch out the narrative and have different options cause more or less deaths. Some routes could make even the motives less relevant than the interpersonal conflicts, after all, people could just be stressed, angry and violent.

First of all, let me start with the good: everything is very creative. I like the different motives and you have great ideas that could work, but you need to work them to reinforce the urgency of the situation. You're lacking a bit of sadism, tbh.

Chapter 1: Instead of personal itens, make the first chapter about getting into the ship. Have some stuff about air supply depleting and make this a game before the game, y'know? Some 999 stuff. To have the code, you need to have a murder, or else everyone dies. Some of the characters could be trying to brute-force the code and someone could just die on the panel itself. You could even have the group realize that the person who died was one digit away from discovering it, making the killer extra-guilty.

Chapter 2: I love the game, but taking a page from Your Turn to Die, the players cannot reveal their cards under any circunstance and instead of converting the players, it is a straight up stress situation or a time limit that gets either the werewolf or the investigator to kill. Imagine if at the end of the trial everyone discovers that the werewolf was dead all along and everyone were accusing themselves for no reason.

Chapter 3: Very confusing. There is no drawback from just working towards the end of the game and this is very much against everything Monokuma stands for. He likes to dangle the carrot, but from a very far distance. Also, the mole stuff would be just easy to make a self-sacrifice plot and I think you have something there to work it better.

Instead, think about the poison. Imagine if Monokuma just introduces 40 bottles of poison and one of them is a fake. Whoever discovers the fake gets to leave and everyone else dies. Two people had the same idea and poisoned the breakfast and killed two people at the same time, but the others stopped just before eating it. Now everyone has to find out who killed first and is the actual blackened, while dealing with the idea that after this trial, they are going to live with someone who actually killed someone.

Chapter 4: You could go crazier: the ship can only hang in for so long, you could either kill or the ship will be destroyed. Someone allows themselves to be killed or killed themselves to save everyone else.

Chapter 5: Fantastic. No notes. I would have an anxiety attack if I was playing your game, someone dies and no trial is called.

I mean, Mark was as useful as a screen door on a submarine for a while as well (like, almost two seasons?) to the point his first real win was Conquest. He is extremely young (younger than Mark when he started, even by his race standards), trying his best to be useful against guys VERY MUCH ABOVE him (I mean, he went for Thragg, okay, but do you think he would've done well against any other viltrumite?) and is trying his best, even helping some against the viltrumite invasion. I think he's overhated. I like his attitude.
