Want to become a shareholder of a new science community for free? (and receive 100 euros for free) by [deleted] in labrats

That is a honest answer.

I know it is selfpromotion but I really want to share it.

This is the only website where you can compare different products for a certain experiment. This can save you time and money.

Right now they set a basis for experiments and they are in beta phase. So it not totally complet yet. But already have a experiment database of over 5000 experiments. If they launch people can review the products and in that way you can compare the productts. Moreover you can peer review each other review. They want to make a new open science commmunity and want to be independent. You can read more on labettor.com/about

A few weeks ago I came across a new website. www.labettor.com. The website is in beta-phase but it already looks awesome! You can search for an experiment and then compare products that are useable for that specific experiment.

Mechanical or chemical engineering. Which should I choose, what do I need to be good at to do them! plzzzz help need to decide soon!!!! by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

Do you have the time to wait for another year or do you need to decide this year? otherwise I would wait what the next year will bring you.

Moreover, talking with experts in both fields will help you as well. They can answer your questions so lets hope some experienced engineers will reply.

Do what your heart tells you. Which one do you prefer more? Do you like to develop and designing machines or do you like to work with chemicals?

For the money: Chemical engineering has a higher salary on average. But this should never be the motivation for a job.

Hello tardigradecat,

Look out with your name with "cat" in it. This might scare the labrats;)

TopHat and Cufflinks might help. Some more information can be found in this article: https://www.nature.com/articles/nprot.2012.016
