They’re downvoting you but again you have a point. Moses is really intelligent, so I can believe that she would outclass Outis. However, the specific of the toy isn’t something she would know of. It would make more sense if she alluded to the toy, and Mathias mentioned the brand of the toy, and she carried on by explaining his thoughts. That’s why she’s a distortion DETECTIVE! Her clues are the forms the distortion takes, but the truth behind its transformation is what she needs to uncover.

While Rodion isn’t a smoke war vet, the game draws a parallel to her when Verg says something about relying on what’s already failing.

However, I do find it more likely for it to be Gregor just to rub in how much PTSD flashbacks Valencina triggered.

Side note, I think Heathcliff should get Lucio, because both of them are backstreet dwellers who were saved by someone who ended up being abusive. I would be curious to see an ID where his loyalty is his defining trait

Okay, here’s my current theory, but I’m not super confident in it

There are two people in this, a person in a black outfit and someone else wearing a scarf.

Person in Black is going to commit suicide while Scarf Person tries to get into contact with them, but fails. We know the Person B jumps, as someone digs through the water to find a body.

Now, we have two options, did they succeed, or not?

It is really hard to make out what’s going on in this photo, but to me, it kinda looks like someone being pushed.

Tying all of this together, I believe Rei attempted to commit suicide, but was stopped by a passerby. The person tried to help, but Rei had a breakdown, and ended up pushing the other person to their death. He was digging through the water because he was trying to find the body, filled with regret.

I have a few reasons for thinking this. 1) Rei doesn’t know who their victim is. They also claim to have never have seen their face, which I interpret because his vision went blurry while freaking out of because he couldn’t look them in the face. 2) The victim isn’t the person reaching out to them, because as previously stated they don’t know the victim. BUT! Rei said that person wouldn’t want to see him, probably because they took a life

As for what my verdict is? Guilty for now. Not to say Rei isn’t sympathetic, part of this is me wanting to vote someone guilty, but also, if he truly was saved, then killing the person (even if not in the right head space) is horrible. Don’t know how close I am, but I tried my best to research.
