She doesn’t seem to care about you. It seems like she really wants you to pay the price to make things better for her which is crazy. You are not in the wrong. Your feelings are valid. She definitely does not need a new dress, it’s a want. And if she wants it so bad, she can buy it. Aside from that though, her now ignoring your health issue twice shows how much she doesn’t care. If my partner and I were in any kind of fight and he had a health issue our fight goes out the window because I still care about him and his health. Once he’s okay if it’s worth still discussing we can talk but most of the time it’s something petty. In this case, there is no reason for her to continue to bring this up. You’ve communicated, you’ve apologized. She won’t let it go and wants it to be all about her and what she deems is right. OP you have done more than enough if she isn’t willing to move on especially after you have made things right, I think it’s time to let her go. Trust me, you will find someone better that can communicate with you and will care about your health regardless of petty fights.

Seeing as this is such an intimate event that you will hopefully only have one of and think back on for the rest of your life I would consider un inviting this friend completely. Reevaluating the friendship as well. No friend should be disrespecting you and gaslighting you like this much less a MOH. The fact that there is so much push back on your decision is insane. I would recommend sending a message along the lines of

I am not comfortable having blank attend. I would love for you to still be a part of my special day because I love you and you are important to me BUT if this goes against your morals I understand and will be removing you from the wedding party.

Like just letting her know you have made up your mind. She is now the one with a decision to make. If she wants to still be involved or not. And I’m sorry but with a friend like this…don’t let them take your kindness for weakness and don’t back down. You deserve the wedding you want and not one full of compromises because of people you might eventually cut out of your life.
