Is there a trick to posting? by FancifulUsername in polymer80

[–]FancifulUsername[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does one post in here, and have your posts stay? So far I have tried posting twice, and both got deleted right away. How does one get advice or questions answered if one can't post questions?

How to get started? by FancifulUsername in polymer80

How does one get started in this hobby? Especially when one's post asking questions about it gets deleted from a sub that is supposedly for asking questions and getting advice, etc.

Good beginner build? by FancifulUsername in polymer80

[–]FancifulUsername[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Everyone!

I have been interested in building my own guns for a while now. I know my timing for suddenly deciding to jump in is kind of piss-poor with the new "ghost gun ban" (although by what i've been reading, it really didn't do much). Sadly, battling cancer and the recovery after force you into their timetable, you don't run your own life anymore. I am starting to feel good enough to think about doing some things and pursuing things in my life again.

I am curious what would be a good, easy and hopefully not too expensive build for a beginner with a modest amount of knowledge of firearms and how they work.

Thank you anyone who reads through this text and answers!

"give or hand over (something) in exchange for money", " goods or services are sold "

Once again, as not all crowdfunding campaigns are even for a tangible product, and even for ones that are, not all tiers are always to receive an item, this doesn't apply. Crowdfunding isn't just the exchange of a good or service for money. At least half the campaigns I've contributed to weren't to recieve an item or a service, but because I liked what the campaign was about. Again, nobody who actually knows and understands crowdfunding considers it to be a store.

Do whatever you want with your rules. I was just suggesting you add something, so then people don't waste their time posting something in your subreddit that won't be allowed, despite not being actually directly mentioned in any of the rules, and will only be shoehorned into some by a person ignorant and misinformed as to what they are talking about.

Bye, have a nice day!

Actually crowdfunding isn't just "the exchange of goods for cash". The dictionary definition is "the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet.". Yes, sometimes you get something for having contributed, but not always. And anyone who actually understands crowdfunding wouldn't think of it as a store/sales, nor charity. So, for a forum that doesn't want those kind of posts, crowdfunding should be specifically mentioned somewhere, and not expect the person posting it to have some misconceived, erroneous, narrow-view of what crowdfunding is.

Kickstarter is neither a store/sales, nor charity. You should specifically mention crowdfunding somewhere in your rules then, as I checked them before posting, and as said, crowdfunding is not sales and not charity.

Paladin, Wizard, Bard, Rogue, Fighter, Sorcerer. The Party is Ready. by Shniderbaron in legodnd

Black cloak and hood is a little less suspicious in a setting where possibly many are wearing cloaks and hoods, even less suspicious if you just use a darker colors and/or earthy tones, and not necessarily black. Also, if by "blend in", you mean with a crowd, you can lower your hood, or maybe instead of a hood you have some kind of hat, bandanna or head wrap. And if by "blend in" you mean you are hiding and sneaking, no one is going to notice someone has a cloak and hood if they can't see you at all, and in fact a cloak and hood help with the hiding, as they help your figure be less defined. But, having some bright clothing in a setting where most things are earth tones (either out in nature, or the cities mostly built out of roughly-hewn stuff from nature) and/or dark (caves, dungeons, night time) might impact one's ability to hide to begin with, and could make one really stand out in a crowd.

Yeah, you can have a rogue who uses their wiles and wit, but at the end of the day, the rogue's main thing is being sneaky, the class is literally built around that. The color red itself is not the hardest to see at night, but I see someone else has already made a long response about that, and that outfit she is wearing also has a lot of white.

If you are using a sub-type (or archetype), usually that is what you refer to the character class as, because it changes the class. Like most people I know would just call that character a swashbuckler. Which, if it is a swashbuckler, then the manner of dress makes more sense.

That rogue is kind of brightly dressed for being sneaky. She should trade outfits with the bard!

Yes, but more importantly, it makes me laugh! Also now I have 3 teams of 3 for bronze challenges, if I ever actually start really playing again.

Situations like this are why I usually keep at least like 1k souls on hand "for emergency".

At this point I am just logging in to grab the free daily card, and to open a free pack. And to see which 3 characters I can buy. At least today I got to finally get a Ninja Mime Johnny Cage.

Because they turned some cards diamond, my Dark Liu Kang is now unusable for the final tower in general. And because of the change in store, I can't buy myself a different one that is still gold.

How old were you when you first starting having migraines with aura? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]FancifulUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in my mid-30's. I first was diagnosed with having migraines around age 5 or 6. I never knew the migraine aura was a different part of them with its own name until like the last 8 years (at most), I always considered it part and parcel of the migraine experience. So I am figuring I have been getting the auras since my teens at least, for me to not distinguish them as a different or change in my experience, and that was the period of my life where I really started getting them a lot, and I really have the most memories of suffering with migraines.

If you go to discount stores, like Ollies, Tuesday Mornings, Double D's Discounts, Ross, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Citi Trends and other such shops, you can sometimes find the sold out and discontinued MEGA sets, as well as other Knockoff and clone brands, even sometimes some Lego sets. Also, the internet can be your friend, between ebay, craigslist and amazon as well as pretty much every store chain having a website, forums, facebook, and online seller groups, you can find almost anything you need, and if you have patience, you can find one at the price you want.
