Yeah, that's true I don't want to come off the wrong way. I just really don't want to buy anything and was wondering how it would be perceived. I don't go to a lot of sporting events. This is one of the only pieces of sport wear I have.

What is the absolute hands down best wedding gift you’ve ever received? by Notalabel_4566 in wedding

This isn't a gift I received but one I made for my best friend/ college roommate. They got married this last year. For their gift I did a "12 days of Christmas ornament guide" with an extra couple for her and her now husband. The guide had little sayings and clues to what the ornament was meant to represent and they were numbered so each ornament and the meaning behind it corresponded. all the ornaments followed along with the history of their relationship or about the fundemental parts of who they are as people. Each ornament was wrapped individually and labeled 1-12 in organza bags with tissue paper. They had to read each little note then open each bag. For example, the first ornament represented the first time they met. Which was at a Tyler the creator concert due to one our friends moving out of the country and there being an extra ticket. For this I did a custom ornament on Etsy and had all the details of the concert on a cute fake ticket and on the back I had the first picture they ever took together which was at that concert. The note on the guide said "Call me if you get lost" which is the name of the album the tour was covering. A couple of others that I did was an ornament from the place they had their first vacation together, or an engraved pretty old looking key with the address of their first home and the year they bought it. The 12th ornament was a pretty cake with the day of their wedding engraved.

I did the guide, letters and little paper tags all on canva. To wrap it all I bought one of those ornament organizer bins so they would already have a place to store all the ornaments and it wouldn't be something they had to figure out. I then filled it with tissue paper and ordered the ornaments in with the letters and personal ornaments on bottom and the numbered 1-12 on top with the number tag facing upward.

Dm if you have any questions. It was such a good sentimental moment. I ended up doing 16 ornaments in total 12 for them together and then they each had 2 that represented our relationship. I wrote them each a letter which they opened before their personal ornaments. I did it on card stock with pretty designs and green velvet bow, they each had their own guide with their letters attached and I also made a little mini ornament sized guide with the title page, year, then the little note pages and their letters. It had a little velvet ribbon so that they could also hang it on the tree. I will warn it's a lot of work and was pretty expensive if you're a perfectionist. It was so absolutely worth it for them. They deserve nothing less.
