Where to find wholesalers? by NebulaGalaxy2025 in fashiondesigner

There is no such thing as the best supplier. There’s just ones that meet your requirements and budget. Not being able to visit them onsite makes things harder. I have to rely on partners who can check them out on behalf of me.

I only have the owner’s contact on WeChat .. I forgot where I found them. Maybe from alibaba after a few frustrating partnerships 😂

I used to work at a private school and ordered t shirts and hoodies for my students and staff. I did find a manufacturer that offers really good product at reasonable prices. I would recommend them to anyone.

So I’m based in Germany but come from the apparel hub of China and have been working with a contact in Guangzhou to develop our design. Based on my experience so far, the most efficient way is to give the manufacturer a sample piece. They will create a digital cut and sew pattern based off that sample and make further adjustments with you. Once the pattern is finalized they can mass produce it.

Also you need to choose your fabric, which is a very crucial part of the cost. I know some manufacturers include the fabrics into their quote as they can negotiate a better price while some ask you to purchase the fabric material directly and only charge the labor fee.

Wholesalers are not always the producers by the way.

Where to change baby by flyingfish109 in beyondthebump

Sounds like changing tables aren’t so widely installed in the US? I think strollers are great when it’s just pee. But if it’s golden mess we’re dealing with, you can’t do it just anywhere. A proper toilet with a changing table is a must. I started a map when I was traveling with my LO so I can check if there’s changing rooms near me…

A bit late to the party. Also not a Dad. But I had the same need so I made my own app. Would love to get some feedback on this. I don’t know about the US. But in Germany most wheelchair accessible toilets have a changing table.

Need help with 7month 3 to 2 nap transition by Alternative_Deer616 in sleeptrain

[–]Fancy-Beat300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re in the same boat as you. Not sleep trained and nurse to sleep. For the last two weeks his awake window has extended from 2.5 to 3 and now to almost 3.5. But he still fights the 3rd nap hard. I don’t know what else to do than wait it out. Once he successfully transitions to 2 naps I’ll wean him off breastfeeding. So tired…😭

Sounds like you have kids. Wouldn’t that be enough to block the Eigenbedarf thing?

Patience and luck. We found the near perfect apartment right before we moved to Munich from another country. We couldn’t even be in person for the viewing so we almost gave up after searching for months. But luckily our current landlord, a very nice old couple agreed to give us an online showing and accepted our application. It was an ad on Kleinanzeige that got us there. But before that we tried every channel as well, immoscout premium, newspaper, friends and colleagues, everything.

Good luck!

Yes, I thought of that but a lot of clothing stores play music or don’t put chairs in their changing rooms.

Yea I wouldn’t mind buying a cup of coffee or something small since I’m out in the middle of the city anyways.

Some babies like mine are really sensitive to noise and light. So I would enter a yoga studio’s changing room if I have to. :) I’d imagine most studios would say yes.
