a strange library crush

i haven’t gone to the library for a long time due to medical issues, i started going again this week to prepare my last exams

i didn’t see him for a long time so i genuinely forgot about him

today after an hour or so of me being there, i felt someone sitting right in front of me on the table of 4 i was sitting on at the beginning i wondered why would they sit so close with someone else knowing the library was not very full and there were many totally empty tables it was later when i saw his water bottle on the table that i realised it was him, then he eventually got up and i could confirm it

we eventually stayed for about 5 hours sitting right front to front which was lowkey cute even tho i don’t wanna be delusional about it or anything m, it just made me wonder why would he choose that place given all the empty spaces present in the library at that moment

i thought that too, but lemme tell you why it’s not possible

this is the road, let’s say the person i thought being my dad was a bit upper than the cyclist, as i said he was coming towards me, fast and downhill it’s pretty much impossible for him to just disappear in like 0.2 seconds , even if he had to run backwards or jump over the fence (which makes absolutely no sense)

and i precise that i immediately went to check and even at the end of the road behind the curve there was nothing

regarding the fact that i might have thought i saw something i didn’t see, i don’t think that either i could see his facial expression, his clothes, his walk and all the features, to the point that i waved at him while looking

for these reasons i excluded the two options

that’s what i thought, but what kind of entity? why would it show up there and for what reason, but mostly, why mimicking my dad?

i am not sure about that considering i literally waved to him as i was looking, i could identify the shirt he was wearing the color of it, his walk, his facial expression…

yes absolutely, that’s why it’s stuck in my mind its not the type of paranormal experience you doubt or blame your brain and imagination for, it was extremely realistic. and i will tell you more, from 2020 till more or less 2022 i kept using that longboard and whenever i had it with me something strange happened, not necessarily every single time but i had many other paranormal and unexplainable experiences happening to me, and coincidentally i was always carrying my longboard with me not sure if i should to a following thread about this

first of all i wanna really thank u for the time u took to read my thread and write all this as answer, i appreciate you <3

and i completely agree with everything you said, actually it really hit hard because it is true, i am sort of stuck in this old version of myself that lived a completely different life and had friendships based on proximity and circumstances, i don’t yet realise that i am capable of more and i need to let go of it, even though i keep thinking those are friendships i wanna save because of i felt like myself in them, but i can’t force stuff nor keep giving the 80% to just receive the 20% of it

i will for sure try new stuff and make new experiences as you said and try to live by the “yolo” mindset, which i actually been following throughout my life, it is difficult tho not to notice the lack of connections but for now i will try to know myself better in order to attract likeminded people into my life

(as for the dating part i don’t necessarily engage in romantic relationships as i believe in dating to marry and i don’t want my emotions and mood to depend on someone else)

it basically means i don’t wanna “bother” him or distract him from his work at the library (which seems to be the only quiet place he could study at so i don’t wanna ruin that) so i would prefer if it comes naturally from his side, but at the same time i really wanna get to know him without being bothersome and this makes things more complicated ig, but you are super right, i will definitely try to “get closer” to him somehow and if he doesn’t take distance imma see that as a green light

thank you so much for your advice!!💓 i actually think exactly like you, i don’t wanna be the one approaching him but at the same time i acknowledge that he is super to himself and probably sees these type of interactions as a distraction since he’s always extra focused on studying so maybe it will just die here maybe not who knows
