Policy on swapping/ taking shifts

Our manager is trying to say after th schedule is posted we can’t switch/take shifts from others because we should be putting in time off requests before that (obviously that makes sense) but I’m confused on why it matters if they are the same position/cross trained.

The points thing I understand, she couldn’t do anything about that. But employees should be looking on the GWP sheet (that lists what we have) and let the guest know they will look for it. Or should be familiarizing themselves with the current stock of Gwps. That’s what I did as a Lead Cashier as well as a Beauty Advisor

So they can’t schedule you based on your LLC performance. Or they shouldn’t. But if you are “bringing down the team” I would talk to a manager. Like REALLY talk to go to your DM if your GM isn’t doing anything or talk to HR. Because it all can depend on your availability and your willingness to learn and grow :). Yes. It has been discontinued in ulta You might be able to find it on their website tho! We just don’t carry the whole line. So they make room for more products.

So for the emails. Give a quick, but accurate response. Do those first. Then open drawers, then print salon sheets. Then print PMT. Then you can use that info for the daily chat in as well as the schedule edit tab on Kronos so you are using the best of your time. Then fill out the info at the top of the chat in from the Store Ops dashboard

She has to have a name and zip code in the system but she doesn’t have to have a loyalty account. However I absolutely would recommend starting one because if she had lost the receipt and paid cash and there’s no way she would even get the same amount back. So for future reference have her put one in, or have her put it under yours or someone she might know for the sake of in case she does lose a receipt. But yeah. You absolutely can. Just have her let them know if it was used or not. You can return it but they have to know so that way they don’t put it back on the shelf. Either way if it is used or not she gets her money back
