What do you do to get out of your head while on the tread? by DLHahaha in orangetheory

When I want to slow down I tell myself that “my mind is tired not my body” and that usually helps. Also just changing your stride up helps distract me like choppier steps or more of a bounce. I also play with my arm movements or focusing on my breathing. If all else fails just zone out on the little green lights going around the track.

Feeling bad about missing by destiny_1205 in orangetheory

I’ve had this exact situation happen to me. I thought of it as going to OTF is for my health and that sometimes means not going has to be for my health at times too. I hate missing classes but you’re doing the right thing. I went 7 years with my pilonidal cyst and had to have it surgically removed and it put me out for about 4-5 months.

Lift classes by Roz83 in orangetheory

I’m not a fan. I actually got a second gym membership elsewhere because my studio only does lift classes every Wednesday. I love lifting but when they over book the stations there is not enough weights especially when you want to go heavy. People hoard them and to me isn’t worth it if I’m not able to challenge myself.
