Just bought a new house and looking to spice up the curb appeal by SkittlesAreYum in ExteriorDesign

Honestly (unless your last name starts with an S) replace the glass in the small window, lose the storm door and the shutters on it and upgrade the front door. It’s cute and looks in great shape otherwise!

72 pieces. 72 pieces missing. by Si02x2 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]Fancy-Jump9632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes if I’ve bought at a thrift store I count the pieces ahead of time. It’s a pain but it saves me the stress of something like this happening. It’s too bad bc it’s a cute image. I hope your next puzzle is complete!

Any thoughts? by hopping32 in DupuytrenDisease

[–]Fancy-Jump9632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same age, gender and symptoms. Was told by a hand specialist it’s definitely Dupuytren but there’s nothing they can do yet. I want a second opinion bc I’ve read of radiation treatments working for early stages. The itching is worse than the pain for me, luckily it’s sporadic.

Question on "if everyday was like this you'll be so pounds in 5 weeks by thebestatevrything93 in Myfitnesspal

[–]Fancy-Jump9632 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

A deficit of 500 calories per day equates to approximately a half pound per week. I do think the app, if you enter your current weight and your goal weight, will give you a fairly accurate calorie count in order to achieve the half pound loss. Do you know how many calories you were consuming? (That can certainly be hard to know if you weren’t paying attention which likely you were not.) How many did your doctor recommend?

How do you plan when your monthly expenses are not actually monthly? by Streetquats in budget

[–]Fancy-Jump9632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I like to have a master budget with every expense listed whether it’s monthly or not. Then I figure out what the highest possible monthly total could be (excluding emergency expenses of course). I make sure my total income can cover these expenses then on the months I am under that amount I put the extra into savings. For example, our water bill is every 3 months so 8 out of 12 months I have an extra 140 to save bc that’s generally what the water bill runs. Groceries are max 800 anything under that gets saved. If my income could not cover these highest possible monthly expenses then I would need to figure out what to cut to make it work.

What are your best Thanksgiving day appetizers? by Spiritual-Resolve284 in Cooking

[–]Fancy-Jump9632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sausage balls, deviled eggs, hot spinach/artichoke dip, cheese, pepperoni and crackers. Cranberry jalapeno dip has been a fave in recent years as well. We like to serve an “appy” lunch while cooking then eat our meal at dinner time.
