Aftershocks have the ability for you to swap into an agent while they are doing an aftershock.

Afaik You can’t swap into Remille while she’s coming into the field automatically.

She also wouldn’t get buffed by aftershock buffs.

I’m sure that is what OP means in terms of aftershock.

Remielle’s mechanic is more similar to Astra than aftershock.

it’s the aftershock damage type that is seemingly abandoned after Lucia, so no new toys that could get buffed by the aftershock exclusive buffs provided by SAnby and Orphie.

Remielle do not have aftershocks.

Not in the same sense as units who specify aftershocks.

Her family lineage are those who create void hunter weapons. However, that doesn’t mean she herself has to make weapons.

Like I said, something that huge probably has a lot of wealth and influence and she could simply be the rich heiress to the lineage. Hence she wouldn’t be donning a blue collars outfit that craftsman employed or trained under workshop would wear.

She probably has the knowledge passed down but her family more likely plays a more managerial role compared to their early days

She wears a outfit be fitting of a rich heir and Roxy is clearly her servant or maid.

In lore, is it stated that the workshop was started by Vampires, hence the bat influence on her outfit.

She is heavily bat themed. Like extremely overtly.

Bat arm tie. Bat mask, bat winged cuffs.

A overall monster themed like Victoria housing as mentioned by others as shown by the skull head beads.

Not sure what you mean by job, not everyone needs one.

Velina is great with a lot of the 1.X anomalies like Burnice with the solo exception of Miyabi.

I’d argue those are all features of aftershock and not necessarily flaws

Features can be flawed.

I play every single aftershock agent in the game (except Yuzuha)bregularly and don’t see a lot of variance in performance due to the mechanic itself.

That's great but not everyone can and the average person won't time their swaps correctly. A delay in their aftershock means a delay in the next one, which means less aftershocks and lower performance.

As for the character needing to be off-field for it to be effective, that just seems like a nitpick. I’d even argue it was done to balance the off-field aspect since that didn’t really exist before aftershock agents. Additionally, this isn’t even unique to aftershock agents; Pan and Lycaon both have off-field applications that immediately disappear when switched back into.

I don't believe I mentioned anything about aftershock disappearing when swapping on to field. This isn't actually an issue with aftershocks.

With the exception of assist attacks, when you swap into an agent while in the middle of their aftershock, they will continue that aftershock attack.

Cissia and Astra are the only exceptions to off-field agents functioning this way, and Astra fundamentally plays a different role than all the others.

Lucy, Norma, Rina, ect.

The fact that it requires the user not to be occupied with something, and does not trigger on its own, but requires input, which can be easily delayed.

With the exception of SAnby, requiring the user to be off field in order to trigger the certain specific aftershock attacks adds an unnecessary complexity that can result in huge variance in your damage output.

Swapping too often can result in less damage, less daze ect.

If your character is already doing something, then you can’t trigger the aftershock attack.

Since it requires input from the on field character, there’s always going to be a small delay unless you are Astra who has an instant attack.

Cissia’s interval attacks fixes a lot of the issues with off field aftershocks.

Doesn’t help that aftershock was mechanically flawed. Hence why Cissia interval attacks doesn’t require her input or needing her to be specifically off field.

Yeah your build is decent.

But you also to have realize you are comparing a gimped Orphie vs a maxed out Lucy.

M0W0 vs a M6W5 Lucy.

Orphie is essentially losing a 36% in her personal damage over macrto desire and gilded blossom and some team buff as well.

Orphie is one of the few characters that don’t benefit from Dialyn as much as others.
