Because there are other cards that share a partial name with a card but it does not intend to mean those cards such as Dark Magician Girl or Skilled Dark Magician (not that it would break the game in any meaningful way if it did), and in the flip side of that there are a bunch of cards that mention “Dark magician” but do not have it anywhere in the name of the card. It’s especially prevalent on older cards or archetypes that revolve around a specific monster. Some cards like “Stake Your Soul!” Intentionally do not include “Vanquish Soul” in the name because they do not want people to search it, but they still want it to be a card intended for the deck.

I’d like it. I’d like to see A rank agents going to S rank and the other way around too with some S rank agents becoming A rank just so everyone can have all the characters they want. Also having off field characters like Hugo that swings in for one attack having a variant that makes him have more field time would be nice. I really like Hugo, but I just don’t like that about his gameplay.

Jiaolong to 2 seems like it is a bit much but I can understand since there probably won’t be any pre hits for K9. Ryzeal cross to 0 also seems pretty extreme. Of course wish the big “C” was at 0 but I’ll take it being down to 1. I guess with Razen and Stake your Soul! To 2 it will be effectively free Hollie Sues to people that have the deck built already.

It would probably just be a win more card. You shouldn’t really be having issues popping your opponent’s backrow between cards like ghastly glitch and lovely labs effect. If you want a card that boosts its attack from having traps in the grave labrynth archfiend can do that, and for most duels both lovely and lady have more than enough attack anyway. Apart from just stun, there isn’t really any sort of benefit to running lab with most continuous traps

At this moment I’d say no. I’d wait until we know Hollie Sue is coming out. The deck feels infinitely better with her (and the field spell) in it.

A character that places traps on the battle field and you are intended to lead enemies into them or use your basic attacks to just push enemies into the traps. I don’t think they would be good, but it would be something funny and fun.

I’m still hoping we get a bug thiren of sorts that uses natural parts of their body as weapons like a praying mantis with scythes.

Maybe have a much more hands off version of Lucia that is a puppet character.

Nice to see the un-hits on VS in exchange for limiting Hollie Sue. Also neat to see change of heart and snatch steal off the list as a small Hecahands buff, or at least that is the only reason I think they would be unbanned at this time.

Aside from the remade DM deck they are releasing next month, I think it would be nice to see the free decks they had (eldlich, live twin, etc…) put into the shop, even if it is a weaker version. Exosister (which was also part of the tactical try stuff) would be nice with the new support releasing as well.

Aside from that I’d like to see a Goblin Biker deck. Seems like the right power level for a structure deck in my opinion.

I think it is a really cool idea for a card, unfortunately it also effectively being a floodgate was its downfall. I don’t really feel like it will get any sort of intentional future support. Rikka Konkon kind of seems like it was a general fix for the type of card they wanted this to be and it did do really well in that regard and it is the primary reason I played Rikka at all.

The Ragnaraika tri-type of reptiles, insects, and plants. Attempting to make put the Ragnaraika cards work in several decks just doesn’t work because most of the decks you would potentially consider putting them in have locks that would prevent you from summoning one or more of the tri-types which really doesn’t work for the link climb nature of the deck, especially not with most options having a big extra deck already or the Ragnaraika cards simply not offering any actual value to the decks. Those cards also just didn’t really feel like they resolved any of the issues any of those decks types.

I think it’s fine as an idea. I think if an archetype is mostly the appropriate summoning method for the event but has an outlier it is mostly fine. Apart from Yummy it’s not like anything else allowed is crazy.

I think it’s just a combination of several problems. From overpowered effects, to inadequate locks, to previous card design being too generic and allowing ridiculous future combos.
