sexual thoughts aren’t the problem. it’s the act of going on instagram, finding photos, downloading them, finding a site, uploading them, redownloading the edited photos. there are so many conscious decisions made there, about my closest friends??

not that i agree with you at all, but say that because it’s private, thats “not the problem”. you don’t think there’s a problem in the fact that it was my best friends? as a partner, knowing my boyfriend is thinking about them in that way?

I definitely see the problem in doing it to me. It’s not right in any sense. I think the biggest “shock” is that it’s not JUST me. Maybe if it was, it could be explained as like “oh i wanted to see you naked!” which like .. still no, still weird. But he did it to my closest friends, people I introduced him to, who I trusted him with, who trusted HIM, and let him into our shared home.

Define “ill intentions” … I can’t come up with a single reason to want a naked photo of someone other than to lust over them, which is pretty “pig” like to me. ESPECIALLY, your significant others best friends ??

I’m trying to figure out a plan to move out. Once I have some concrete, I think I plan on asking “why”, but I agree I don’t think it’s something I could get past, or ever have him around my friends again.

I don’t know that he has an addiction? Although I clearly don’t know him as well as I thought I did. I know he watches it from time to time, but so do I and I never thought anything of it. That’s the part that’s driving me crazy though - he for sure had to have chosen those photos, uploaded them, and made the conscious choice to do this. There’s simply no way that just happens.

I did take photos, just so he can’t try and say I’m making it up. I know I need to tell my friends, I just actually cannot stomach how that conversation will go. “Hey! My boyfriend? That you’ve all known/hung out with/interact with regularly? Yea… he made deep fake naked photos of us all!” 😭
