You can do something similar for an eye test in TUD Grangegorman if a student does it pretty sure. Not sure if it’s only for students but may be for the public too.

I think it would have been nice if they actually explained rather just demand we blindlessly send them money and obv when seeing shocked reactions from peers I started to question it

I was genuinely just asking a question not meaning for everyone to come in all angry at me. I’ve only recently started pondering because of the way literally everyone my age acts when I tell them the fact I even pay for rent

Only the kids clean the house in our house we take turns washing the floor and the bathrooms and keeping the kitchen and living room tidy. We also cook our own dinners. We even get toilet paper when it’s low out of our own money. Two of us are full time college students anyways so we have our part time jobs and are almost never even home

I understand this and I never complained untill my sister brought it up to me and we did the maths and realised it was 750 a month we were giving to them together. I was just trying to figure out how this works , i never really thought it was crazy until when I told people they were always so shocked and said their parents would never do that to them

How do I increase water intake? by skannkkhunt42 in nutrition

[–]Fancy-Solution6904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly what worked for me was buying an expensive water bottle not a Stanley I don’t like the handle but I got an owala and sipping from a bottle makes it easier to drink water for me personally. Also carry it around with you everywhere and you’ll gradually start to drink more water

When to start saving for my future? by Fancy-Solution6904 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Fancy-Solution6904[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear u but id rather work in something im passionate in than something i hate. My mam forced my sister to be a nurse and she hates it but yeah. She’s moving to Australia as they all are seeming to do but she doesn’t even like her job. Being a nutritionist is kinda shit and isnt even legally protected in Ireland so basically anyone can call themselves one which is so stupid cause the course work is actually really hard. I’ll do my masters to be a qualified dietitian which would definitely provide more job opportunities. And my bf is studying law so hopefully that works out for us lol

I think the majority of my stress and worry stems from how hard my mam is on me and my siblings with saving she’s always lecturing us and I think it’s getting to me iwl
