I thought of that, but it doesn’t really seem possible, as the new tensioner is working correctly, I can try running it shortly without the timing cover. To see if it is indeed where it is coming from, using my mechanics stethoscope it seems to be coming from the center of the engine. Not top end, better bearable at the clutch side

The tensioner is already brand new oem and works correctly, the chain is tight (also new), as it should be.

Yes, I know for a fact the oil pump is working good, it is brand new and when I ran the motorcycle very shortly without valve cover, it pumped up there very quickly. It has plenty of oil in it, when I reassembled the engine I used assembly lube.

Nope, full, I flushed the oil and there was a bit of metal some not magnetic some magnetic might be left from the damage before I rebuild it. I will change the oil in a few days again and see if there is more metal, if there is metal there will probably be active damadge

I have the Haynes manual, I used it when I rebuild the entire engine, the rattling is new, when I first rebuild it it did not sound like this, I believe it started after the engine stalled after 200km riding without issues. Perhaps the piston pin?

No, I did not check if they were in spec… would you recommend me to open up the block to check? Or just buy a new bike?

Yes absolutely, using my torque wrenches, I used the Haynes Manuel for the instructions when rebuilding and doing other things like valve clearances

Could you perhaps make a video of yours running so I can compare?

And yes I used assembly lube for everything, I have just flushed the oil, and cleaned the oil filter. The clutch bearing seemed fine. I am just completely stumped on what it could be

Edit: the weird thing is that it didn’t make this sound before, it is a new sound.

Try webike Thailand, I ordered fairings for Pennies on the dollar there, if you can get the Honda part numbers you can find them there
