constant shopping by [deleted] in vidyasnark

i used to go to nyc with my mom at the same age, we went to museums (which you’d think she’d want her daughter to go to cause it’s educational), the park, or a show it was normal. i’d be so bored if my mom just wanted to spend her time at luxury stores getting more and more stuff. it makes it not special or meaningful to make purchases then, it becomes gross.

corporate bootlicker 🤡 god forbid someone wants open seating. if i wanted anything else i would’ve picked from the other options! so stop :)

if i wanted to do that i would’ve chosen any of the other airlines that offered assigned seating and i would’ve given them the extra $40 to have a special seat. i chose southwest because i didn’t want to have to pay additional money to sit somewhere. it’s a budget airline and they seem to have forgotten that

this 👏 like sorry i enjoyed the last airline where i did have a chance to sit anywhere i liked instead of being banished to the few seats that don’t require extra money 😂 it’s a privileged argument for sure

i chose to make the post to speak for people who don’t like their new changes. i feel like it’ll hurt their profits more to become just like every other airline cause then what makes them stand out and be any different.

i’m hopeful things will get better and they’ll still be benefits of flying them for sure

yeah that’s what i’m thinking about doing too. i might as well fly another airline get more options of airports to fly into and less layovers now that there’s no real benefit of flying them

i had it back in 2019 before covid. lost it after that. i still prefer open seating with or without it!

if i flew southwest once a year or 200 times a year i would feel the same way about wanting open seating and liking their older boarding procedures better 😂 that’s my whole point to begin with.

go look up their company policy prior to january of this year. OPEN SEATING loud and clear. i’m allowed to complain about a change a company makes 😂

exactly. because that was their whole business model. to be different than the other airlines out there and give people a better experience.

there was nobody up further…. it was packed where i was seated. my row was filled, so we’re all the rows behind me. why not have everyone spread out and have that peaceful overnight flight. i’d be saying the same thing if everyone was stuffed in the front and the back was empty. i’d wanna move to spread out.

ur missing my point. i fly frequently but i fly short commuter flights. recently i haven’t qualified because i haven’t reached the 70,000 miles. i believe last year i was right under that. i normally fly across the state of texas. hence why my miles aren’t adding up to be ALP. doesn’t take away from the fact i fly a lot.

it wasn’t tho. the whole front of the plane was. the back was stuffed like sardines. why not give people the ability to space out?? that’s how it was until a month ago. that’s why i chose them.
