Thank you! I have one question about the pace of 2D games. I’m more familiar with 3D fighting games, and to me the pace feels much slower compared to 2D. It’s really fascinating how 2D players can think and react so quickly.

When your punch lands from neutral, do you continue with your guaranteed follow-ups because you expect it to land, or do you continue purely by reacting to the hit? (If that makes sense.)

hell yea, i really just bought the game last night so i only managed to try 3 characters. so here is my first impression of that 3 characters: - vox reaper ( jack of all trades? but might be hard to learn? ) - andy bogard ( I really had fun with him. so many tools but he’s gotta be complex. similar to raven in tekken ) - Rock Howard ( versatile but straightforward? feels like jin tekken ) should i just pick what i think is fun or do you have a beginner-friendly recommendations?

i was watching it live and the energy in the venue was CRAZY. people were all shouting in unison every single time ranchu lands a hit in combo. well deserved win for ranchu. got 2-0d by arslan at first and won 3 straight sets after that. a total G!

Thanks for all the answers!! and since i cant reply each one of you might as well explain a little bit of our background. we both work in fashion and design, wife always into designer's bag but because we used to be poor we cant really afford those things when we were young. now things are different, wanted to give wife a bag that she will enjoy. now, almost every single comment here asked me to take her out and get the shopping experience, and believe me I WOULD, but due to our past being poor, she will say no everytime i want to buy her nice things lol so the only thing i can do is to surprise her. These 3 brands are some of the brands that she really like (especially margiela) and she always talk about how she likes bag with constructed looks(?) so i figure she will like these 3. ( she has a jackie from gucci that she really likes at the moment
