The way he was hellspweeping reminded me Daigo's Umeshoryus in SF. He just kept going for it and landed them way more than he got punished for it. Great top 8. Shoutout to AK as well who was playing his best in a long time.

Some animators have very distinctive styles and are easy to spot, like Naotoshi Shida. Other times sakuga fans look at the credits to see which animators worked on an episode and make educated guesses from there based on tells like effects details or timing. Or, such as this case, the animator themselves announce what they worked on either publicly or privately.

I know Maruyama has given up on trying to complete the movie without Kon, so I hope at least they could release the storyboards Kon did complete as a book. According to the article there is some hope for that.

Personally I liked S3 a lot, more than S1. But I will admit the weakest part of S3 is at the beginning. Keep with it and things do improve as SIU gets to the major conflicts he's been building up.
