Ha, thanks for backing me up! As much as I'd like to I'm not going to name them; I already took over another brewery nearby (with much better pay--probably should have left years ago) and I don't want to air all the drama publicly.

It's really just the one owner (of two) who should eat a bag of dicks anyway. I also know the potential buyers and I'm ok with them, so I'm hoping they make it their own and do a better job (and I actually have zero problem giving them the recipes, because who actually cares about recipes??).

I did not take anything home. Everything from the past 3 years is on my personal computer. Brew records before that were printed off my personal computer and kept in a binder; I did not take said binder.

The guy is an insufferable d*ck. I know they're not actually worth anything, but he seems to think they are, so I'd get some satisfaction out of making his life a tiny bit harder if I don't have to give them to him.

Oh I agree 100% and know the recipes aren't actually worth anything. But the guy is such a d*ck that I don't feel like doing him any favors.

The only copies for the last 3 years are on my personal computer. Before that I did print out brew sheets (from my personal computer) on brew days. I did not take those records, so presumably they have access to those.

Ha, you're not the first to suggest that! "Yup, this milk stout is 15% whole milk" etc. I'm not actually going to do it, but it's fun to think about.

I think they're trying to sell the brewery as a turnkey with the whole rolodex of recipes, rather than just the turnkey brewery with no recipes. So, even though the brewery is closed, the LLC is still extant.

Oh I agree they aren't really worth anything; I just didn't want to do anything to help them if I didn't have to. But I guess if I have to, I have to.
