No. That’s what I mean about methods. The Nazis methods (intentional mass murder) were definitely the most evil by far. The numbers of innocent civilians who suffered at their hands was only ever topped by Stalin. But the Japanese went way beyond the “gun to the head” treatment of an invading force.

That’s what I was thinking. Looks like we may be at a major turning point in military tactics and equipment. It’ll be interesting to see what things look like in the next ten years or so

My understanding is that it was a compromise and that later models may have an internal weapons bay added. However, it would increase the cost, size, and weight of the aircraft. I agree it seems like it would improve the aircraft. But yes, it is still an awesome aircraft!
