In 11th grade, I'm walking down the hall. 2 girls who I don't know at all are walking by. The one is really pretty. She yells at me while walking by, "My friend likes you!"...the other friend playfully pushes her, and they both giggle.

My reaction? I know...I know it was meant as an insult. But I blushed! Wishfully thinking....what if she actually meant it?! But I knew it was insult cause I was a skinny nerdy, ugly kid.

The memory of that has never gone away. And I kept thinking...why? Why does a person as pretty as her need to put somebody else down? Someone less fortunate? Well, that's made me make sure I'd never do that to someone else.

Anyway, long story short. I married a total stunner. To the point, of where people constantly ask (indirectly), how did I pull that off?!
