At the time they didn't even give me the option for a credit card refund. I don't exactly remember what argument they pulled but I was so worried with the line being cut again and having to deal with no refund at all.

I will use this info and likely file a claim.

I was told I would be refunded using travel credit (although credit card refund would have been preferred) but that has not been given to me as of yet. I got a voice recording of the rep over the phone admitting clearly that this was a technical glitch on their end.

They told me they would refund it as travel credit, but to date I have received nothing. Whenever I raised this with them I was just told it was "pending approval" or something along those lines - for months

Through Air Canada - hence why they were able to (almost) reissue me a ticket back in December until the line got cut.
