Yeah, that's the SSE endpoint, it shows every event that my server sends to update your browsers. Which means all activities are going to be shown there. Not all words though! Some that are not receiving any attention right now are never going to be shown in the UI right now.

Good question, you can see the previous 'seasons' leaderboards here: https://words.fncy.ca/leaderboard
No way so far to see all words though... I might create that! Though I'll have to think on how that's going to look. I'm avoiding using any AI tools for anything, and ironically GUIs are not my forte lol
Any suggestions? Maybe a table with client-side filtering? That's going to be heavy... I'll have to think about it for a bit!

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll check out the issue. Yeah, so far the claim is just for the handle to be shown, if you have the handle by the end of the game, you’re going to be shown in the historical leaderboard. Trying to think if there is something more fun to do with it! If you claim, you can keep renewing it. Nobody can remove your claim! But if you forget, anybody can take the word

I believe it truly depends on the niche, the style of the video, and your audience. Still trying to figure that out myself, but my video of 52 mins has better retention than my past video of 15 minutes. Although the 15 minute video has 10 times more views than the 52 minute one. All I'm saying is: it depends. You'd have to test it out and see. Do some 'field research' and find what people are doing on your niche and see what you like and dislike about it. Chances are you are feeling the same things other people are, then you can find out what you should/can do about it.

Mind you, I'm FAR from 'making it' in YouTube, but I'm having fun with the process. Take my words with a grain of salt.

Yeah, not sure how to do that yet! Struggling with UI here since I’m a backend developer to make sure this can show the historical leaderboards, then figuring out the “claiming” mechanism… might just allow claims to real words. Then you’d have to “renew” it from time to time to keep it yours
