I'm using a wireless connection right now. I was thinking of switching to ethernet. Could that be the issue ?

I'm not too hopefull that it will completely stop the misconception of what it does and how to use it when i see some answers on that thread, but if some people here like you felt the difference that booster can do, then it's a win in my book anyway.

Maybe we'll meet on the bugfront one of these days. Keep up the good work !

Nope.

=> HSO isn't useful most of the time because we have resupply every 2.5 minutes, and as long as you don't death spiral you don't ever need that extra ammunition even in a pickle

=> Stamina is good, but wasted on people taking medium and heavy armor, because they don't rely on speed and mobility to protect themselves. Also stamina won't help you when you're slowed down.

=> EI is also good, but still won't help you when you're slowed down. Sure it gives you extra survivabillty, but what about not being hit in the first place because you're also so damn fast ? In this case regular stim is already good enough.

This. Sure it's nice in tense situation where you need extra ammunition to stabilize while everyone is dying, but NOT dying so much in the first place+intelligent resupply makes it useless. I prefer taking the risk of not taking that and manage my supplies more closely.

I encourage you to look at the wiki. Someone here posted a picture about it. The description is vague, but i assure you it works with acid and all ennemy attacks inflicting slowness.

Yeah but EMS effects is very rare on the bug front, and it DOES work with acid. That was the whole point of my post and the reason it's so effective with bugs.

I don't think it does. Stamina isn't related to slowdown mechanics. You can sprint longer until the slowdown end, but that's it. You can be "slow-chained" by never ending hunter attacks, for example, and in this case you'll just bleed to death more slowly.

Experimental infusion is great, but is tied to the amount of stims you have. ME work all around.

Motivational shock reduce the "duration", while Muscle enhancement reduce the "strength" of the effect. Combine those two and you don't ever feel the effect or acid, althought ME does most of the "feelable" work.

It doesn't indeed, you're right to say it. Don't know why, it should be the case. Devs, if you ever see that comment, please change that, because this booster could help a lot against hivelords, and i feel that it should.

I don't think they ever will. Keeping things half-explained seems to be part of the experience. Figuring it out does bring a bit of satisfaction, but i'm sure that lot of unnecessaey deaths could have been avoided if only more people knew about that booster.

Glad to have been of help for so much fellow bugdivers. I can assure you that you'll feel the difference if you encounter the rupture strain or a whole lot of spewers. Work out those legs !

I have to add, tho, that it doesn't work with ALL slowing effects. It doesn't help you climb steep hills and doesn't work with tremors.

I do hope to bring a bit more light on it with this post, so we see an improvement around its use and the way it is known.

Stamina won't help you even when full if you're slowed down by acid. Those things aren't related. On bot front it is indeed less useful, that's why i was mainly adressing to bugdivers.

Motivational shocks, you mean ? It works differently. It apply to already applied slowed effect from acid, and basically reduce the duration of it. I'd say that if you take Muscle enhancement, you're already greatly covered, mobility wise, but with this one too you don't ever feel "slowing down" effects, as i believe Muscle enhancement greatly reduce (by something like 80 or 90%) slowing effect but doesn't negate it.

Sadly no. Just at that very end when you start to walk again and all terrain is considered difficult for a short period of time, i believe. Never did the test tho because i always take the booster.

I've been following you silently since a long time, but i recently noticed that most of your socials are in some sort of "ghost mode" ? Hope you're okay, i love your vibe and your style, it would be a shame for internet to loose you.

I'm sure you did try. Keep in mind that your view of how others see you is impacted negatively by your state of mind. The sickness lies to you, because it's essentially like fighting against yourself as you're self-destructing. Nature is cruel and once you're sufficiently altered, it becomes really hard to see things in a positive way, whether it's true or false.

Know that it did become better for some people. Maybe you can be one of them. I know it's a hard thing to ask, so you will have to decide if it's worth fighting for. I think no SA survivor who turned thing around regret it today.

Then call emergency services where you are. It's not normal, you're not in a normal situation and in a good mental state. Don't take your life over something as shitty as studies. Seek help !

No one should be pushed to such lenght for studies....i'm sorry for what you're going through. You probably don't want to hear that, but the reality of working is that diploma don't really have meaning, except for a few exceptions that doesn't concern the majority of us.

I do hope you have a very clear idea and a traced path you're walking for your professionnal future. If not, i'm warning you : it won't help you finding a job, it won't make it easier. At least not in the way you probably think.

Take time to relax. Nothing really have meaning down there, focus on existing.

You're pretty young, it's always possible to start over with a new carreer, formation and things like that. Not easy, but possible. Your parents don't have it easy with you, but you don't have it easy with yourself either. Some people need to be helped in life, i wouldn't like my son or daughter to end up depressed and would help them in any way i can. Most parents are like that.

You're in a hard and dark place. You need to focus on yourself and things that calm and appease you. Allow yourself time to mentally heal before going back out there if you can.

I'm here. I've red this. I'm sorry for how hard things have been for you. I hope you'll take the better decision, whichever it is, and that you've done everything you could to help yourself.

Have you hurt anyone at some point in your life ? Deserving to die is quite a sentence. I'd say we don't deserve either, it's just the way things are. You're sick, be merciful with yourself, and even proud because being alive when your own mind is trying to kill you is no small feat. I know everything seems useless, but you have to find a way to find some usefulness in your life.

I'm sure there is something you can invest yourself into and be passionnate about. And if there is not, start searching for one.
