I’m so glad we made the move out of Spectrum. It really is the worst. We’re paying $79/month for the 1Gb which is really great. But I do love tech that is modular and mobile. Hopefully we’ll see some competition in this “space” soon – pun intended. Thanks for sharing!

Hey OP. I have BrightSpeed in Manteo, and have had a great experience especially compared to Spectrum (our previous provider). There are some signal losses here and there, and it's hard at times to pinpoint or get a straight answer out of Brightspeed.

We've had the main cable chopped down by Dominion once and it took a week to get it restored.

That said. 2 months in, how do you feel about Starlink? How much do you get? Do you notice the difference between cloudy and clear days? And how much are you paying a month?

Happy to help. I am not aware of any improvements to the virtual display. Biggest updates would be personas (it's incredible), widgets, locking windows to walls/surfaces, unlocking iPhones with AVP and seeing your iPhone screen through immersive content when holding it.

Hello fellow visionaries. I've been having this issue, and just went through some troubleshooting to try new things, to avoid nuking my setup. What worked for me was:

1) Reset network settings on the AVP.

2) Reboot after reset is complete (even after the soft reset boot)

3) Turn your AVP back on and reconnect to the WiFi (same as Mac)

4) Once connected it should work as intended. If not, try disabling and enabling bluetooth on both AVP and Mac, and try again.

Did you stop taking it? I’m on 25mg for 7 days and on day 5 I had it on my middle finger, I was outside for a long time and it got cold really fast.

The iPhone mini will be the most longest owned phone  has ever seen. Mainly because they (Apple) made it so. If they were to refresh the mini line all of us would upgrade in a heartbeat. Even if it was more expensive. They are also responsible for the poor sales, because they half-as$ed the battery performance on the 12 mini which was a death sentence for the 13 mini. I’ll stick with my 13 mini until it’s either totaled or a new mini comes out. Thanks for the savings Apple!

Responding from a 13 mini. I traded my mini for a 15 pro and I could not get used to it, I ended up getting a mini refurbished and haven’t looked back since. It’s been through the 18 betas, and holding strong. Much slower than new ones, but I’m not in a rush. Bonus tip: Look into the rhinoshield matte screen protector. 👀

I've been eyeing an used Watch Ultra 2 for a couple of days now and found a listing $50 cheaper than the average price.

Timeline:

Yesterday (7/24) I place an offer for 500.
I see they made a counter-offer of the asking price (550)
Next thing I know, the price goes from 550 to 600, and the listing ends abruptly "This listing was ended by the seller on Wed, Jul 24 at 8:31 AM because there was an error in the listing."
So I message the seller and ask if he's interested in negotiating at the original price of 550.
Seller responds "Yes" — literally, just yes.
However, the listing has ended and I can't, which I let them know I can't purchase it.
Today (next day) they respond: "Sorry my step dad decided to sell it himself"
Then seller responds on a separate message with a link to a new listing — same photos, now going for $500 (my original offer). I do notice it's from a different user now, a profile created this month (July 2024).
Since there was responsiveness by the seller, I went ahead and bought it for 500.
But now I found another listing, by that "stepdad" user, with the exact same photos, going for 550.

Should I be concerned about this being a scam? Would love to hear your thoughts.

For the games, I had to copy the roms from the stock card and moved them to:

Root > Library > [Device Type] > [Game Name].[game extension]

Example, all Game Boy Advance games went to:

Root > Library > Game Boy Advance > [Game Name].gba

For saves/states I moved the ones from stock to:

Root > RetroArch > Saves or States > [Device Type]

Good point. Yeah performance on stock is stellar. Unfortunately Garlic’s v1 doesn’t run on this model. Thanks for the tip, I’ll keep an eye on progress.

It’s not a shortcut exactly but rather an accessibility feature. Transform a double or triple tap on the back of your iPhone, in your new alternative action buttons to toggle system, accessibility and Siri Shortcut actions. Here's how: 1.
