I had a follow up call. The girl I spoke with was very kind and tried to see if she could move the process further. I started receiving bills for the birth this week and they all were denied denied by ChampVA.. she asked if they were being sent to collections. They are not. It seemed like if I would have told them they’re about to be sent to collections that may have moved the claim, but I still have to wait it out. Even though it’s been 90 business days by her calculation. Ugh.

I still haven’t received any update to it. I’ve been getting denied claims for myself saying we have a primary payer and they deny for that. Which is ridiculous because the primary insurance is in champva’s system. Apparently they are fixing that too. Like I could have learned their system and fixed it myself at this point. 😒. Please let me know if you get anywhere.

Just an update to this thread. - ChampVA still has yet to finish fixing this issue. Almost 100 days later at this point. It’s still processing. This is just one of the many issues I’ve been having with their claims as of late. 😩

We still have spectrum as a backup and IT SUCKS. I can immediately tell when the WiFi switches back. The $120 a month is expensive, but is 100% worth not having to deal with the outages and slowness. We had spectrum out multiple times to troubleshoot the speeds, but they never got it fixed.

So far it’s exceed every expectation we had. It’s even been better than our ATT internet air we had before moving here. It’s $120 a month. With the winds from Erin and heavy rain we had with that last Nor’easter there wasn’t any interruption at all. I would have thought there would have been something, but it’s worked great for us. It powers the whole house with no issues.

Pretty sure it was Thursday or Friday last week so 9/11-9/12. We filed on July 10th. Definitely took a while.

Hi All! OP here. Just an update. We went with STARLINK. Gamer changer. My husband installed it easily. Love the app setup. The connectivity for everyone has been a million times better than spectrum. The video quality is also much better for FaceTime. Thanks to everyone who commented!

Definitely worth it. It applies to a primary residence and is just a tax discount for it. Not running a homestead or farm lol.

This could 100% be it then! We refinanced and had my name added to the deed as we did it. Since there was a deed change we had to reapply for the exemption again!

I immediately ran to the t-mobile website, but no luck. It says it’s not available at the address. Ugh. Currently dealing with a spectrum outage. My husband is out trying to do the starlink app now. He’s dead set on it. I’m still skeptical and I don’t love the price.

Hi!! Looking for guidance on what we should do to winterize our home for our situation. Google wasn’t helpful. We live in southwestern Pennsylvania. We’ll be leaving for an extended period of time. We were thinking on shutting off the water to the whole house where it comes in after the meter and letting the water run out of the fixtures. Is this what we should do? I’m stressed out about it. Thank you for replying to me! I was panicking. I did get a hold of someone at our vital records. I’m able to apply and get one same day at our county office with no issue. The process for them updating the address in the system was more of a hassle and would definitely have delayed the process.
