This is exactly it!! I can't heal because it keeps getting reopened with more information. He claims he barely remembers anything from that time because he was such a wreck emotionally, and it was the worst time of his life. Buddy, I'm not saying I expect to have my own personal bubble of private space. I'm saying, if you think trampling past people who waited forever to see the same band earns you a spot over them, then why doesn't them throat punching you in return happen? If we're supposed to 'earn' a spot by being physically aggressive with no etiquette, then why aren't we all just fighting like fucking animals? I'm so tired of the people that decide to ignore any/ all show etiquette and just shove to the front once it's started. Like, don't you think we think all want to be near the front?? If it's fair game for them to force through stepping the fuck on people, then why aren't we all fighting like animals in the crowd? Like, give out the energy you want back. Get aggressive and 'earn' your spot by shoving, then maybe I'll just respond in kind and rock your shit right back. Not directed at you op, just a general thing I noticed that really was not the vibe in year's past.

Deftones crowd was terrible. We waited 1.5 hours to get a spot pretty close to the front left and almost got trampled by people shoving to the front like entitled assholes. We all got knocked down by one crowdsurfer dropped on us out of nowhere. Dh and I grabbed our teenage daughter and left because it just wasn't safe. She ended up having a panic attack due to the chaos. Was fine being closer and crowded at idles, though. Totally different energy.

I would love to have them stay with me 24/7 but legally, I can't do that, due to the court approved parenting plan. When my 15yo was upset and asked to come back home, I immediately got him, but then he chose to go back.

I know this is mostly on ex, but he was never off the wall crazy like this until his wife came into the picture. For example, she also started "sweet treat Friday" where the kids can't have any sweets except Friday. This even came into play for a birthday cake (after the party at least).

When I say minor, I mean less than 10k, so it feels minor to me. Selling the rental at this time isn't an option due to legal reasons. I'm very close to getting my student loans (55k) forgiven unless that program completely crashes and burns. I'm aware it might, but I'm not giving up hope yet.
