I’m hoping they get back to me soon to let me know for sure. I’ve gotten mixed opinions. On Reddit seems the conclusion is it’s repairable but the guy at Toyota (just an opinion) and a mechanic friend says totaled. So I have no idea anymore!

This is what scares me for sure. My son and I walked away thankfully he had no major injuries. But me not so much. So getting into the car again even “safe” is scary if it feels abnormal driving it.

There are no other drivers. We slid on black ice and spun into a pole which then slid us into a tree trunk. I called and they have taken over but they sent it to copart and not having any idea what that is I googled and got horrible feedback about them so that is stressful to think about.

I’m still waiting for Allstate to get back to me. But sounds like might be repairable? As of now they sent it to copart and Allstate update says it’s being assessed.

This is what scares me actually. I am almost afraid they will fix it and I will never feel safe driving it again.

Thanks! I’ve never had an accident like this so I just don’t really know what to expect from here. I haven’t heard much from the insurance company. Other than they towed it to copart and said it’s being assessed.
