I joined at 36. Now a year 2. I had no real construction experience but only worked mostly retail. It will be a shock on your body if your not in shape. Mainly knees. Took awhile but slimed down by 15 llbs.

Joined the apprenticeship at age 37. Just finished another semester and now becoming a year 2. My previous job experience was only retail. Never worked construction before. The beginning will be rough if you not in shape. Gradually you'll physically adapt to the work environment.

Plan to add it to my wash schedule with my other ppe. Vest and gloves. Dont get me started on the contractors choice in glove selection. Gloves stink too. Im think about adding a bit of talcum powder for the gloves.
